  1. Ordered this when it dropped on KW can't wait for it to arrive. Play a show in Chicago
  2. My girlfriend got me the simpsons house for my birthday so I spent the last three days building it. I was pretty fucking thrilled.
  3. Yeah I got to see them in Feb and they were insane. They're definitely one of my favorite bands playing right now I haven't heard anything about that new LP are they recording it now?
  4. Wish the Chicago date had Iron Lung or Boris instead of Nothing but I'll be there regardless
  5. Finally up along with some other good stuff
  6. Got to see They Came Together last night and David Wain did a Q and A. The movie was really funny, back to the absurd gags of Wet Hot American Summer and The Ten rather than the more normal humor of Wain's two previous big budget movies(Role Models and Wanderlust). And Paul Rudd and Amy Poehler were great but that goes without saying.
  7. My copy came today, it is a really solid release, the second Merchandise songs is reallllly good, I'm not much of a Milk Music fan but they cover Johnny Thunder's You can't put your arm around a memory and its pretty awesome.
  8. That No album is the best album of last year and the new Stoic Violence album is the best album to come out this year so far
  9. This was one of my favorite demos from last year and it finally got pressed by Deranged so you know its good. But it here http://store.gravemistakerecords.com/products/institute-st-12 listen to the whole thing here http://institute.bandcamp.com/
  10. http://repos.bigcartel.com/product/the-repos-new-tape-april-2014 new tape is up along with some left over t shirts
  11. Went to the illest show I've been too in a long time- The Repos, No, Stoic Violence, Pillage, and Violent end. The new Stoic Violence LP is so good I picked that up along with a Repos cassette, No's first LP, Perspex Flesh LP, and a Violent End seven inch.
  12. Finally released, I was able to grab a copy from my phone at work
  13. Went and saw Under The Skin tonight, it was enjoyable, it kinda felt like a dragged out music video, it was visually stunning with minimal dialogue, very bare plot line that became very redundant
  14. Wathced Argento's Tenebrae last night which was really good as well
  15. and that outro is awesome too reminds me a little of the body
  16. Those vocals were not what I was expecting but I dig it, will probably pick it up if Reckless gets it
  17. Chirp fair was a little disappointing but I picked up some good soundtracks I got the Death waltz- Zombi 2 and The New York Ripper and then an imported dutch Vertigo Score and The Forbidden Planet score
  18. Just watched Sluizer's The Vanishing and really liked it. It was extremely well crafted and had some interesting philosophical undertones about evil. I also watched Nebraska a week ago which was enjoyable. Will Forte's acting seemed a little off but Bruce Dern, the actor who plays his father, was really good.
  19. I think I'm going to their show with Manipulation on friday, I got their tape with the not normal subscription and its pretty good so it should be a good show
  20. I'll be at the CHIRP fair just look for the 20 something white male record collector
