  1. While I believe raiding the guy's house is a bit over the top, Gizmodo very likely could have been a party to a theft. They weren't very responsible during this entire situation.
  2. You're in Dallas so I'd say the Caribbean islands and/or Cancun are awesome choices since they're more "local" to you. I'd also look at the Florida Keys but you have to stay away from those areas during Hurricane season. If you're thinking of going during September look at California. Newport Beach and Huntington Beach are great areas. John Wayne Airport (SNA) is a local airport. You can fly in there and its a short drive to Huntington or Newport.
  3. I'm thinking this means this season is Price's last in the bleu blanc et rouge
  4. Oh I thought he was younger than that. I was thinking he was like 24-26 for some reason. I dont think its as bad as the Holliday contract. He was a late bloomer/call-up because of Thome's time in Philly. His prime is getting close to being over. But you never know.
  5. this. i wouldn't be surprised if after the season ends (like, the day after) it's announced he's having a decently major surgery of some kind. like he's been playing all year with a broken spine or something. dude is superman. He needs to get his hands fixed and take a good amount of time off. Playing with a roll of tape on his finger doesn't work for his shot, at all.
  6. Yea same here considering last time I saw them play was at Chain Reaction. I hope, for them, that they sell out the Wiltern but I doubt they will. I bet you they sell out the bottom tier and probably don't sell the top tier.
  7. exactly what i have. couldnt fault them I have them too. I like them a lot.
  8. me neither. but I have to switch it up because I will kill the album for myself if I don't haha :-[ I know what you mean, by the time its actually out it'll be old hat; can't have that.
  9. Gasol is really starting to piss me off. This season has shown all the little critics people had to indeed show up on occasion. He's playing soft again and doesn't look like he's got the energy to play or the drive to win. This has nothing to do with Artest/Ariza though. Trevor didn't exactly carry the offense. Though Ron-Ron needs to realize the 3s aren't dropping and needs to drive the ball to the basket or something besides jacking up bad 3s.
  10. Seems about the level of someone asking for advice on a message board about a computer.
  11. He said after the game that this is the final wake up call, realizing how close he was to losing his eye, he is going to start wearing a full shield so he can see his kids grow up. also, this is truly ridiculous (slight Pens related content) http://deadspin.com/5523243/ http://www.wpxi.com/news/23241743/detail.html Good for him and I'm not sure ridiculous even covers that. Wow.
  12. For the price and for what you want it looks great. The two things you might want to do are upgrade the hard drive to something both bigger and faster. Something like a 500GB (7200 RPM) drive should allow you to store a ton of movies and music and allow you to access it faster. That said, a higher RPM drive could impact battery life. The other thing I'd do is bump the RAM, at some point, to 4GB. Everything else looks good and Toshiba makes a good product from what I understand. I wouldn't expect the laptop to last more than a couple of years though.
  13. The Celtics have won more championships, the Lakers have just been to the Finals more often.
  14. yeah you're right. 7 games, okc wins. Har, har, har. You're just bitter because the Celtics won't make it past the second round.
  15. Norris Trophy finalists announced: Doughty, Keith, and Green. Doughty is the youngest finalist since Bobby Orr.
  16. Lappy needs to retire before his face explodes. Or at least put on a shield.
  17. Really MLB, we can start voting for All-Stars now? Does that seem a little premature to anyone else?
  18. That kid just got the thrill of his young life.
  19. It's not as if it's the first Apple prototype to make it into non-Apple hands. While it could be viral marketing, I'd have a hard time believing that. It doesn't seem at all like Apple, with their rock solid record of secrecy; Even looking past that, I don't really see a reason for it. I'm going to agree. Plus, if they did want to lose a prototype, the iPad would have been a much better candidate. I'm thinking dude got tipsy and forgot his new phone. Wouldn't be the first time, though it'll probably be the last time for the person in question.
  20. Its the Cubs, moves like that aren't surprising.
