  1. Or there's always a buying a third party to get it done. You might, might be able to find one for a free trial to get done now what needs to get done. Then you should use Time Machine, it really is damn good.
  2. You can probably do that but it will likely not be something you can restore your computer using. I would drag over your data files and applications. Forget the OS-related data.
  3. I'm only a fan of one Socal team, so I could care less about the other two. Its always nice to see the Dodgers struggle. What happened to their pitching? Never really had any, honestly. Bills needs to be better, Kershaw is going to be fine but may not get consistently dominant for another year or two. Kuroda is a 14-11 guy. After that its Ely, who's looked good but who knows how consistent he can be. The 'pen should be fine so long as Kuo's arm stays attached. And the offensive should be fine as well, especially once Furcal comes back from injury. Its not so much what happened to the pitching as why didn't they spend the money to bring in something for the top of the rotation.
  4. Seriously, that was exactly my first thought. It's like "Eh, this could be a good epic movie, but it was a better Mel Brooks movie!" I also agree with the gladiator comparison. While the story is obviously different, everything else just seems too similar from the preview. I'm sure I will watch (and enjoy) this when it's out to rent, but I'm not rushing to see it or anything. It does seem like it'll be a killer TNT staple.
  5. Am I the only one who thinks this looks just like Gladiator? Maybe I'm just biased because its the same actor, director, and coloring, at least in the previews.
  6. You're right on both accounts. I think the thing San Jose and even Chicago have are better two-way wings. With Chicago you get Sharp, Hossa, Versteeg, Eager, Burish, and Byfuglien. Towes has been playing well, Kane has yet to explode too much. Their defensive depth and goaltender are worrisome though. With the Sharks you've got Big Joe Pavelski who's playing outstanding, Marleau, Jumbo Shrimp Joe, Heatley, Setoguchi, Malhotra, Clowe. Though their defense isn't amazing its pretty solid 1-6. And Douglas Murray has been playing great. Nabokov is the big question mark there. We'll see, either way it'll be interesting.
  7. Honestly, the Pens did not play a good series. That's what the Hawks and Sharks can bring along with a better all-around team. I like the Pens but while the depth down the middle is amazing, the wing players for the Pens are borderline. That's not the case for the Hawks or the Sharks. Hal Gill isn't going to play 40 minutes so he can shut down two lines. Or in the case of Chicago three. I can see the Habs winning it all for sure but I don't see them easily getting by San Jose or Chicago, two of the best teams in the NHL. All I'm saying is, for a good deal of people, Luongo is this amazing goaltender despite never having won anything during a normal NHL season. Heck, for the first two games of this playoff year, you could make a compelling case Jon Quick was the better netminder. And for me, guys who have Conn Smythes should be considered better goaltenders than one's who have not. Giggy went to two Stanley Cup Finals and was the best player in the playoffs the year the Ducks lost. I think he's a bit better than 1-A honestly but being in So Cal I watch him all the time. He lost a bit when his dad unexpectedly died.
  8. Well then you and I agree on Luongo but most would say he's an amazing top-tier guy. I would beg differ about goaltending winning you series. I think Halak's insane .976 save percentage is a testament to that. He didn't do it by myself for sure but that's carrying a team.
  9. I'm not saying its Luongo's fault persay but its been proven over and over great goalies win games and series for teams. Cam Ward, Patty Roy, Martin Brodeur, JS Giguere, and Ron Hextall to name a few were guys who carried teams. Luongo hasn't carried a team thus far and I see nothing to indicate he will. I'm tired of him getting pub over people with Conn Smythe awards because people think he's this amazing goaltender. He hasn't proven a single thing. He won a gold medal for sure but he didn't win it, his team did. He was playing behind 25 of the best players in the world and at least 5 players who were better than any player in the tournament. He won the gold, sure but Ryan Miller was the better goaltender for the entire tournament.
  10. LeBron's supporting caste has no marbles.
  11. Can we all, as an NHL hockey community, stop jerking off Luongo now? He's got talent for sure but he's nothing better than Marty Turco as dictated by the results.
  12. At least you know what you're going to get for your money.
  13. Rondo is having a HUGE series. And is that Sideshow Bob getting doinked in the dick?
  14. Well I got that Sharks series correct, at least. And had Chicago come to play last I would have gotten that series too. Lets go Hawks.
  15. Edwards' biggest issue is NHL Center Ice. He's a regional announcer.
  16. While you are right, its totally stupid to put hot liquid between your legs it shouldn't care third degree burns. And that particular McDonald's was told prior their coffee was too hot to be safe and to fix their machines. That's why they lost that case.
  17. Never used Linux and now you're compiling your own source code to build programs. You've grown-up so fast.
  18. uhh...Padres? Its not going to last and even if it does, 2 out of 3 teams absolutely suck. Even if one team is good it doesn't make up for the other two. That and I forgot the Padres even existed when I wrote that, honestly. Add to that the Padres can't compete with a single good team in the AL and there you go.
  19. That's kind of the point I'm making. "Regular" hot water isn't going to give anyone second and third degree burns. Meaning the water has to be far hotter for any serious injury to occur.
  20. I think its safe to say baseball in So Cal blows right now.
  21. Massive balls. Massive. And possibly gold-plated.
  22. If Staal comes back that would be truly amazing.
