Surprised to see Perturbator mentioned here. Although I guess Hotline Miami did a fair bit to get their name out... still not really in line with most stuff you see being talked about on VC. Blood Music threads tend to get zero attention. Great album, kudos on having good taste! Have you checked out Carpenter Brut? Very similar style of '80s dystopian retro-futuristic John Carpenter / Blade Runner-esque synthwave.

Story version? Dungeon version was even tougher than on any of the game cycles, IIRC.

Totally. Everything including the reunion and afterward is a complete write-off IMHO. I'd sooner pretend they are still broken up and Dennis is still doing some side project I don't care about. The drum performances on Shape of Punk to Come will always be top-notch though.

It's good, yeah. I got it 5 days before release, but I haven't had tons of time to play so I'm not super far. It has the best weather in any game ever and the choices you make actually make differences in the world. When you go on a quest there are always little things to discover to make it feel like there is an actual purpose and you're not just fetching or chasing waypoints.

I had a roommate who had a pet snake. A ball python. He used to ask me to hold it a lot. And also to wet it when it was dried out, so I did. I like animals so I didn't mind holding it at all. I actually liked it. I wouldn't get one myself, I didn't like watching the feedings. And I prefer pets to have fur over scales, but they are neat to hold. They like your body heat and wrap around and tighten it feels cool.

The only place I might not be able to help is old yarnham. But if I said why that might be slightly spoilerish. BSB is optional though, u can avoid that entire area.

Yeah if u want to blast thru the main again, there only like 5 mandatory bosses. But you'll have to make sure to round up the cords as well. The latest patch enables unlimited level coop with password, so if u even got impatient u could summon my character... Can't remember my exact level but it's over 200 and I'm on NG+++ so anything ng+ should be a breeze (played their ng++ entirely solo aside from npc summons father g and Alfred.)

I feel like summoning Sif is almost mandatory for me, since it is missable if u do not rescue him first. Also if u do that before his boss fight in the forest u get a different cutscene in which he sniffs and recognizes you... So cool. Solaires quest is cool too, requires doing the chaos cov shortcut to keep him alive. I usually play as a pyromancer so doing that cov is right up my alley anyway. If u choose the ring as a gift or trade for it at the nest u get dialogue from the fair lady. Maaan dark 1 is so awesome. Yeah the HP cut in defiled chalices is a killer. I rarely invest in vit but in that case I was like 'yeah I'm gonna have to invest some points in vit'

Hahahaha Pretty sure she's real though, cause she's friends with one of my 100 friends. The worst is profiles with no pic or info, it's just a name, age, and gender. How do they expect to get any swipes? Probably just on there to creep people. I saw one of my old buddy's sisters on there and I swiped her left hahaha.

Just earlier today, I actually got matched with a model with whom I have 1 mutual friend and I only have about 100 people, so I was like 'whoa this girl is gorgeous, seriously?' Then I read her profile and it says she swipes everyone right because no one deserves to be judged by their looks, which I respect and think is actually pretty cool, but not much of a confidence booster and kind of a weird philosophy for someone who is a model.

They probably run everything from Japan under a geiger counter to make sure they aren't importing anything with too high of a radiation level.

I have a phone now but I'm very new to this millennial approach to dating. I installed tinder and mostly swipe right unless something really turns me off about their photo or description. I get matches, some seem nice... but it's de facto to receive no messages and no responses right? I mean you get a match based mostly on picture and then... so how bad could I be at saying 'hi'? So I assume its just normal to receive no response? I don't expect for girls to message me first, but I kinda wonder 'what is the point' when the only people who reply are, like, middle-aged mothers of two. Naw, I miss Dark 1 (and Demon's) on a regular basis. I also found Gwyn to be a lot tougher on NG+ - partly because I did Solaire's quest the first time so I had him to distract Gwyn while I melted him. NG+ was fought solo, but certainly significantly harder than NG, even aside from that. He's so scrubby in NG that I didn't expect him to be so beastly in NG+. On the other hand, he is parryable and you can also cheese him using Great Combustion, it was never patched. Seems like most of the bosses that seem easy/scrubby on first playthrough get bumped way up on 2nd playthrough and the bosses who are tough, are about the same or only slightly tougher. Or at least that's how it seems. I've also found that bosses are easiest on the 1st attempt in all Souls games, and a friend of mine agrees. Not sure if that's actually a thing, but it seems that way.

Yeah it's not terribly long. Some of the platforming was tough, but I beat it in about 2 or 3 days. A few levels/bosses each day... I've been streaming gameplay to twitch.tv I was streaming Shovel Knight when I beat it. Now streaming bloodborne NG+++ and I'll be streaming the witcher 3 starting on release day.
