If you're willing to spend that much, get a Pioneer Kuro. I got the 50" and am blown away. I got it on amazon and they have free white glove delivery. After all the research on LCD vs Plasma I did, I picked the Kuro and it's a plasma, but it has the best black levels of any tv. I watch a ton of horror and we all know that most horror movies are filmed in the dark. So I got this and it's perfect. And you CAN see a difference. I would watch the same movie on another friends tv and you can see it's a shade of black (like a light black) and not actual black. It all comes down to what you will use it most for (watching tv, video games, movies, computer screen, etc etc). Definitely do the research on whatever you get

The past few times I've ordered from Fat I've gotten a colored and a black. Maybe it's a newer thing?

I have no idea anymore, I know they made a few changes to people and their department. When I was there, I was one of like 2 people who was actually into vinyl/collecting, so whenever test presses came through and the product managers didn't have time to listen to them, I'd get a copy to give the ok.

I hope they got the music issue sorted out. It wouldn't be the same without the music in some of those sketches. I've had crappy bootlegs for too long, so stoked on this! Will this include the CBS stuff like the Halloween special?

For me, it was like that elusive, mythical record that you never saw before, only heard about. Over the years, this "legend" grew and grew and with the introduction of the internet and ebay, more and more people found out about it and wanted it. Because they're so limited, people went nuts trying to get one that was for sale. So then bidding wars happen and prices seemed to always go up. I remember getting a chance to buy one in the mid 90s for 400 bucks and I thought the dude was crazy. Little did I know...eventually I did end up getting one. And seeing this auction makes me feel way better about what I paid. So that, on top of being one of the early Rev bands adds to the price. People have also called this the holy grail of hardcore records.

One sold last year (I think) through a private/messageboard sale and I think it went for 4 grand. Nuts man!

fucking eh... so far it seems the RSD versions are black, red (pink), and white. No clue about the eurotaph versions, i assume the retail version is black (but would it be different from the RSD black version?), and the online store version i have no idea about. No idea, but when we were first talking about it, black was supposed to be the rarest one since it would be an exact replica of the original. Granted that was 6 months ago and in that 6 months, vinyl sales just kept going up...and well...you know where I'm going with this

dude you're going to hate this release....word on the street is there are 6000 of em and 10 total colors. 3 released for RSD, 3 for Eurotaph, 1 for their online store, and the rest for retail. Not sure if it's all at once...but the production order was for the numbers I mentioned... good luck

First store I went to, I got the Smiths and Slayer 7"s. That's all they had left. Second store I went to, dude didn't know what I was talking about. then got in a stupid argument because I told him that his store was listed on the site as participating. Whatever I'm hoping for the best at Amoeba later but everything will probably be gone by the time I get there

Everything is pretty easy to find, unless you're looking for Remains pressing info. Also check the tradelists on hows your edge/dead format. Some people will put the pressing info next to the record.
