2 days away bump!

Saw "The Signal" over the weekend and it was pretty good. I was falling in and out of sleep so I need to watch it again, but the first half I was awake for was pretty good. Basically, a weird signal coming from tvs and radios turns people into psycho, rage filled people.

There's 2 fests going on. The CA Uber Alles fest and some top 100 bands thing at the Queen Mary in Long Beach.

At the Stonesthrow/Converse/Wax Poetics event, they're giving away a split 45 with Mayer Hawthorne and James Pants If anyone could pick this up, I'm sure we could work out a trade or cash or something. It should be free if you get there early

saw this on your recommendation a couple weeks ago. thanks. i highly recommend it, my friends and i enjoyed it. saw some movies this past weekend.. dead snow, house of the devil and triangle i'd rank them: house of the devil dead snow triangle i'd probably recommend dead snow the most though because i don't think house of the devil is a movie everyone would like, where dead snow has more universal appeal. Glad you dug it man! Apparently that group does stuff like that all the time. Not really horror, but has anyone gotten into the new Spartacus series on Starz? Lots of boobs and (cgi) blood. The way it's shot can get annoying at times but it's super fun. It's basically Gladiator shot in the style of 300

Yea there might be a few west coast stores that have them, I guess if someone already bought them around here then some must be available. Ive been checking the mall thats right by the office every day this week and they havent gotten them yet. I believe they were sent out a couple days ago to stores on this side of the country so they should start popping up in stores very very soon. I was in Lakewood this morning and they just got them in shipment. So looks like they're getting out there

Yea Trovero told me 930-1130 too. Oh well, still an awesome show. I could see you and Paul from where I was but it was WAY too crowed around me to try and go anywhere. I forgot how lame that venue is if you're standing in the back half of the place. Theres like 10 giant pillers between the bottom floor and the balcony. can make it very hard to see if you're not in the right spot. Yeah I was looking for the old crew but only saw Trovero and Mallory. I didn't even see Church and he lives with me haha. Yeah the HOB sucks. The only good place to see, at least for me, is along the rail or right in front of the entrance to the vip seating place. You usually have a straight view over the heads of the elite

So bummed on this. I saw the HOB time sheet thing and it did say 9:30-11:30

If anyone is in SoCal, I HIGHLY suggest checking this out if you can. I went on Saturday night and it blew me away. It's basically little 2 minute skits of your worst nightmares. I felt like I was in a movie with some of em.

I'm surprised more people didn't like this. I LOVED this movie. It was everything I hoped for from a werewolf movie. Pretty stoked Universal didn't pussy out with the blood.
