  1. Anyone stoked for the Wolfman on Friday? I can't wait. The Wolfman has been my favorite Universal Monster since I was a kid.
  2. I LOVED Trick 'R' Treat. It's very "refreshing", if that makes sense. Very Creepshow
  3. Congrats man! I just bought in Feb and am doing my taxes now....doing next years taxes will feel like the best blow job you've ever gotten haha Especially since you still qualify for the 8 grand tax credit
  4. Are you talking about the old Playmates ones or the newer Mezco (I think) ones. If it's the Playmates ones, I have the first 6 or 7 series in full (characters only not the environments.) I also have the mainstreet playset and a couple of envoronments
  5. So stoked on this! Congrats man! If this does well for you, is there a chance to put out the CT Ska demo on vinyl? I'd kill to hear East End Gangster on my turntable!
  6. One of my favorite movies! The sequel isn't half bad either
  7. The theater near me finally released the schedule for 8 Films to Die for. The only one I can see tomorrow is ZMD: Zombies of Mass Destruction. It looks very Shaun of the Dead, so I'm pretty stoked! The thing that is weird is that all the dvds for the movies are coming out in March. I wonder if next year it will be a direct to dvd type of thing
  8. And for the gorehounds, Flowers of the Flesh and Blood. I'm not too sure on any info. I somehow got a burned copy of it and...wow...just wow. I heard it's a rip off of an actual snuff film. Also, I busted out an old Japanese movie the other day called Junk. If you dig zombies, you'll dig this movie More Asian zombie goodness: Tokyo Zombie, Stacy, Wild Zero, and I forget if this has zombies, but I think it does, Battlefield Baseball
  9. More Martyrs spoilers That's rad that you guys think that. For me, I took it as she killed herself because she told her about what she experienced and because that was the lady's whole purpose, she killed herself to see and experience it for herself. I haven't watched this in a few months, so I'll have to pop it in again and see. Discussions rule haha
  10. Yeah I see what you mean, but I've read a few things about torture and hardships and y say that you go into a state of euphoria or something, so to me, it makes sense Also, with the ending...SPOILER FOR THOSE WHO HAVEN'T SEEN IT Do you think she killed herself because the girl told her there was an afterlife and the woman finally achieved her goal and wanted to experience it, or do you think she did it because she realized what she had done to the girl, or...?
  11. It was ok. I liked it and would watch it again, but not something I'd be excited to watch over and over again if that makes sense. It was an interesting but dull plot and I almost turned it off after the first 10 minutes due to the stupid "I"m sexy" look the one dude was giving that girl. The 2 main actors looked like Twilight rejects House of the Devil though, amazing. Did you see that they're releasing it on vhs as well? So good!
  12. For Hammer in the 70s you're looking at a lot of sequels and failed attempts to catch up to the (then) current market. They couldn't match the violence present in American films so they upped the levels of sexual depictions in the films. They even partnered with the Shaw Brothers Studio for a few films. Outside of maybe Frankenstein and the Monster from Hell and Hands of the Ripper there isn't a whole lot, in my opinion, worth getting into. Something Weird on the other hand is a great place to check out. I recommend the movies of H.G. Lewis especially Blood Feast and The Wizard of Gore. Just be prepared for some poor acting but cool gore effects. If you like Blood Feast stay away from the sequel. It's terrible. Beyond those, just dive into the catalog. I have yet to be disappointed by Something Weird. On my end, I just got the Sleepaway Camp Survival Kit in the mail and watched all three of those. I had forgotten how enjoyable the two sequels are. Very funny early parodies of the slasher film and it's conventions. Thank you so much for this info! This is exactly the kind of response I was hoping for! +1
  13. The opening to Martyrs (the shotgun pa) was so freaking good. when you get to the torture part, a lot of people are over it at that point. Have you seen Inside? One of the best movies, horror or not, that I've seen in a long time. It's fucking brutal!
  14. Also, for funny, check out Night of the Creeps and of course, Shaun of the Dead too if you haven't seen it. Does anyone have some decent knowledge on the 70s films, like the Hammer films and the Something Weird type videos? Any recommendations?
  15. I couldn't find one, so I hope there isn't one further back than I checked Had a movie marathon over the weekend and saw Deadgirl Black Devil Doll (not horror, just amazing haha) Eden Lake (not so much horror, more like survival terror) Dead Snow House of the Devil The Poughkeepsie Tapes This weekend 8 Films to Die for Starts so I'm pretty stoked to see some of those movies. What are you guys digging lately?
  16. pms replied to...NUFAN and Nofx are in talks, but still available I'd much rather trade than sell, don't be shy with trade offers
  17. Have a few shirts for trade or to sell, whichever comes first. These are all XL except the Dickies, that one is a L. Shoot me a message if you're interested or have any questions. Thanks! Also, sorry a few of these are horizontal. I'm at work and for some reason the photobucket "edit" isn't working Dickies - Large - Front Back No Use For a Name - XL - Front Back Epitaph - XL - Front Back Nofx Long sleeve - XL - Front Back
  18. Still have it. I'll check your list and see if I'm into anything
  19. I think I still have this on gold, I'll check when I get home
  20. Awesome, thanks for the replies guys. This definitely helps a ton!
  21. i agree with this. i can understand having the jacket signed but the actual record is just dumb. almost as dumb as playing a game of baseball with a ball signed by Babe Ruth. You mean it's the SAME GUY?!?!?!?!
  22. I know little to nothing about stuff like this, so I need any help/suggestions you have. Im looking into getting a 1 Tb usb external hd for all my music and movies and whatnot. It seems the going price is around 100 bucks for a few of them on Amazon. Is there anything to look for/stay away from?
  23. I have Twilight Princess I'd let go of if you're interested
