If you can see it in a theater, by all means do it! I don't know if watching it on dvd will have the same effect. A lot of the jumps people get is from crowd reaction as well.

I saw it on Friday and it was great! My roommate screamed at one point...my roommate is a 26 year old male. For me, I wasn't scared so much as creeped out. The hair on my arms stood up/got goosebumps a bunch during this. It gets to the point where you don't want to watch the night time parts because you know something is coming.

The car crash gave me the same "oh shit" as when Doakes got blown up. What I'm REALLY hoping happens comes from the book. In the 3rd book, he gets married and finds out Cody and Astor are just like he was (killing animals and whatnot) and then he starts "training" them. If they made the plot go that way, that would be so intense!
