  1. I got Tricot's AND & THE today and a yellow exclusive variant of Giraffes Giraffes which is sick. Also got the pink Special Explosion tape and a blue Topshelf logo shirt which is nice. No notes or anything so I sent an email to Topshelf asking for an update on 2017 things and I'll post here if they reply.

Oh and awesome Merchandise wrote "vinyl S" on my receipt lol. I just noticed my Order # says "Subscriber 2017 & 2018" so maybe that's a good sign.

I got my sub package in yesterday but they shipped it to my old address. It came from Awesome Distro, had both tricot albums, G?G!, special explosion tape, and a tshirt in it.

So confusing. I feel so left in the dark with this subscription and the last and I'm real annoyed about the 2017 subscription because 2018 is almost halfway over. Like how do you know if your shirt is from this year or last year's subscription? I haven't gotten a package recently but I guess I'll see if there's anything from 2017. Topshelf was really good with everything up until this and now they don't send any updates but they're pumping out music like crazy this year.

    I'm intrigued.

This band is probably my least favorite of the three from Jason just because I don't think he's as dynamic with PC as he could be. However there are some moments where his screams are really impressive and different than any other recording. If you're a fan of his previous work, particularly old Letlive, you'll probably like this band.

  4. The new EP from PRESSURE CRACKS is available for pre-order with 4 limited variants available at the link below. If you don't know Pressure Cracks, their members include Jason Butler (ex-Letlive, The Fever 333), Dan Bieranowski, Kevin Fifield, Bill Galvin and Ryan Doria.

When a band covers another bands song, and then makes the artwork mimic the style and aesthetic of the original bands artwork, then yes....at that point you can definitely have an expectation as to what the song will sound like...considering its already a song and all..

When you wake up in the morning and see a YouTube notification that Weezer has a new song and the bio doesn't mention it being a cover, you don't know that. That's what happened with me.

Someone actually thought this was an original?

Pretty funny trolling on their part.

Weezer is a really diverse band. It'd be stupid if I listened to any song from them and had expectations for what I thought it would sound like. That's also why half their fanbase is a bunch of whiners complaining about how only Blue and Pinkerton are good.

  8. The new EP and flexi 7" from Glitterer (Ned Russin of Title Fight) is up for pre-order. It's pretty affordable for $5 with $3 shipping. The 7" was produced by Alex G and mastered by Arthur Rizk. This is Glitterer's second EP and you can listen to both records over at https://glitterer.bandcamp.com/ .
