Considering Rise did 9 variants for At The Drive In and the deluxe of White Noise had 5 variants with the most limited available through Newbury Comics, I'm going to wait to preorder. Maybe something cool will go up soon.

I spoke to Sumerian about the lack of a media mail option when Night Riots 2xLP went up for pre-order. They told me that their host site does not see media mail as a option for shipping so they won't be offering it. I won't be buying from Sumerian because of that and I encourage others not to. Maybe they'd offer media mail or sell records differently if no one bought their records from them? Wishful thinking.

$19.99 for a 6-song 12" on a basic color variant is too much money. Not sure what made it that price...

Deluxe edition of Citizen's Everybody is Going To Heaven. Great idea but it didn't turn out well. I've never been fond of RFC so I wasn't too surprised.

Honestly I forgot about the exclusives. 2015 was going to be an exclusive LP. I can only name 2 NSR band I haven't liked so I'm still getting my money's worth.

I'm in no way any authority on the matter, but I know they (he? I think he is just a one man operation now) moved to a smaller place and no longer do their own mailorder. There was a thing a little while back were people were waiting for a long time for their records to ship bc of the move and the merchnow switchover. There were things missing from the store and inventory issues, etc. Also I don't think the last few vinyl subscriptions were ever completed and folks were having a hard time getting refunds. Plus, a lot of the bands on their roster either left or signed with new labels. I think if you look in the 2015 or 2016 no sleep sub threads you'll find more detailed info on what was going down as it was happening.

I've been a NSR subscriber since 2014. Basically the 2016 subscription couldn't work out. We only got Shai Hulud on vinyl. Eventually we're getting a free shirt, we have 25% off until the end of the year, digital on release day for every release (which has included Alistair Hennessy, Julia Louise and In Between), and I get the most limited variant of every record for 2016 (that would be only Spill's Top Ten) through the end of 2017 (We're getting WSTR and all the others to come). There will be new records from Julia Louise, my favorite band Daisyhead, Drug Church, Koji, Aficionado, Aviator, Looming, State Faults and whoever else. It's still going to be worth what I paid on Black Friday 2015 so I can't complain!

I can't wait to get my clear copy.

I got an email back. The host that they use for their merch store does not see media mail as a viable shipping option. But the promo code option is said to be fixed (I haven't tried again). So, for $37, I just can't order this record. The shipping and price for a 49 minute 2LP is too much for me.

I also emailed asking for Media Mail. Killer Merch designed the new site and shipping has always been cheaper for records from Killer Merch. I just got PIII in the mail and they gave me a discount code and an invitation to the new store and you can't use a discount code on the new store so I'm thinking they've just got some features to work out. Hopefully it gets fixed soon. I love Night Riots and I'm really excited for this record and I also want to order the new AAL from them.
