I actually think it's pretty obvious which is side A because side A is a part of the album art...
I should have clarified that I don't have a copy of this particular record yet. The comment I quoted made it seem like other records I have, which have identical center labels on each side (the Soft Speak Halloween split, for instance).
-
I listened to the B side before the A side as I wasn't really sure which was which before I put it on.
This is a big pet peeve of mine. I don't like having look at the matrix info to figure out which side is which.

I love your TWY collection as well. I'm definitely not going for variants, so all I need to complete mine (by my standards) is Leavenhouse and the older Tour EP and Six Dudes CDs. A copy of Paper Boats would be nice too.
Also, that Hank the Pigeon plush toy is the ugliest thing. I'm happy they were made, but those did not turn out well.

The tour is awesome. The promotor for Chicago posted the lineup yesterday, but I won't be able to make the date. Hopefully I can catch another midwest show.

Titus Andronicus's Record Store Day release. Everything else I was looking for on that RSD was sold out, but I still wanted to participate after standing in line for an hour.
Anyone, by chance, looking for this?

I'm not too impressed with Daisyhead, but the new Have Mercy song is great.

Glad the book was available outside of the bundle, so I could grab that and a record and save a little money.

much more tolerable than the rest of their work
Out of curiosity, what do you like about this that you didn't like about the rest of their stuff? To me, this sounds exactly like a few songs on Wildlife, which I think is great because I love that album. It just surprises me that this song would win over someone who wasn't a fan of the last two albums.

Isn't this available over at Clifton Motel?
The picture on the front page of their store doesn't say it's sold out, but the description says it isn't currently available.

That's some awesome luck! Congratulations!
Congratulations man! Hopefully you find a few new favorites in there!
Thanks! I'm sure I'll find a bunch of great new artists because of this. Some of my favorites of recent years (No Trigger, Allison Weiss, Aficionado, to name a few) were artists I found because of No Sleep.

I won the Instagram contest for a 2014 subscription! This is too cool.

The first album rules, but I haven't been too into the other ones. I'll probably still check this out at some point though.

I might be filling in for the band Mike Mains & The Branches and would be playing with them at SXSW if I end up doing the tour. I haven't been since 2008 when I was there with Edison Glass and Blindside. Would love to go back though.
That band is so good. I'd love to play with them.
I doubt I'll be able to make it down to Austin for SXSW this year, but it's something I'd like to do in the future for sure.

how can we order this now? Is it not on etr site?
On sale at noon Eastern on Fadeaway Records's site.

I glanced at this thread this morning right after reading a thing about the blue Drake bootleg record, and I just assumed this was about a badly translated Pokemon soundtrack bootleg on green vinyl, and man do I feel like an idiot now.
-
Derrick's a cool dude. Sell him your records.

The split with Empire! Empire! and Malegoat. I've got a major soft spot for great emo-ish stuff and these two bands are among the tops for me.
The second song on the E!E! side of this split is so sad even by their standards. Great EP though.

I'd love to have Vancouver. I'd also love to have the money to afford it.

Our lives were very similar.I was 6 years old when My Own Worst Enemy hit the radio stations. I knew all the words and didn't understand why sleeping with clothes on was a strange thing. I also thought Savage Garden were girls and insisted to sing inappropriate Green Day songs in a Barney karaoke machine.
I was so cool back then.

I'll be purchasing that Switchfoot album for sure. I guess it's time I finally listen to Mew as well.

PM'd because I felt like buying a Christmas present for myself.

My younger brother bought this last night. It will be his first vinyl record. Let's see how long it takes him to get sucked in.
Albums That Should Be Pressed on Vinyl

I'm sure it'll never happen, especially since I don't think Always Leave the Ground sold too well when American Dream pressed it.
Maybe I'll win the lottery one day and throw a bunch of money at it.
