I like that. I'll probably pick one up tonight. I might have missed something earlier i the thread, but has there been any word on if they'll have the new EP on this tour?
Edit: it was four posts up. I'm a dumb.

Was never super into them but saw them play with My Heart to Joy a couple times. They put on a good show, bummer news that they broke up.
Hostage Calm and My Heart To Joy played my friend's house while I was in high school. I didn't go and I've regretted it ever since. Super bummed about this whole situation, and if there's a farewell show, I'll absolutely travel for it.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. Moose Blood's tracks on their split with Departures are by far their best work. Those songs are fantastic. That said, I'll hopefully give this record a stream later today. I've already got in PO'ed.
I had someone else tell me the exact opposite about those songs. I personally think they pale in comparison to the new album.

I think this album is better than Idle Ages, and I loved that album.

My roommate swears that my Orbit has recently started going a little flat/slowing down on the inner grooves of most records. I can't hear it, but she has a much better ear than I do.

Not sure how much I'll listen to that but I'll probably buy it anyway.

Been collecting since 2011 or so, and I'm currently at 502 records total.

So this just came out. Reminds me of This Desert Life. Honestly a return to form if you ask me. Earthquake Driver is actually one of the best songs this band has put out. That should of been the single.
I think my favorite tracks are "Possibility Days" (maybe my favorite song of theirs) and "Palisades Park," but it really is an awesome record.

I don't really mind waiting for YAMS, but I was really looking forward to spinning Clarity soon. I guess I should have ordered those separately.

It was definitely in the email I got too.

So what old Tooth & Nail stuff would you guys like to see pressed?
Anberlin releases
Terminal - How the Lonely Keep
Children 18:3 - self-titled
As Cities Burn - Come Now Sleep
Waking Ashland - Composure
Further Seems Forever - The Moon Is Down
Run Kid Run - This Is Who We Are
Some BEC releases too, but I think they fall under the same umbrella.
The Wedding - self-titled
Falling Up - Crashings, Dawn Escapes, Captiva
I also might nostalgia-buy Hawk Nelson's Letters To the President if it got pressed, but the rest that I mentioned still get pretty regular plays for me.

I did that this morning. Not worth the wait for a cool variant when I can get the record elsewhere today. I assume it'll take a couple days for them to respond.I just sent in a refund request. Anyone else do the same and hear back?

Sort of related question...any word from the band as to whether the Mmhmm anniversary tour will include them playing the full album..or what the band will look like for the tour? As far as I can tell, no details have been revealed about it. I would be bummed if they decided that an anniversary tour meant playing mostly songs from Mmhmm but not the full album.
I'm 99% sure I saw a tweet or Instagram post saying the album would be played in full.

Boooo. Ordered that with In Motion because they had similar release dates.

Yellowcard isn't on Hopeless anymore. They signed to Razor and Tie a while back. Also the 7th would be the release date of the NFG record.
Kinda hope those don't come out on the same day? wouldn't Hopeless want to avoid this?
-
Definitely go. They sounded really great. They are playing in Pittsburgh on Wednesday. Should I go to this? I kind of jumped in late when I saw alot of people who were loving this band and checked them out and dug them. It is like 10th grade screamo for me all over again.

Did anyone here who went to their shows in Detroit or Chicago the past 2 nights notice if they were still selling box sets? I was told there were still some for sale at their Montreal date on the 6th but wanted to see if they'd sold out since then.
And of course if anyone's going to one of their remaining upcoming tour dates, I'd still definitely be interested in paying for you to pick one up for me (incl shipping & PayPal fees & would even be willing to pay in advance) as I said here as long as they still have box sets available at the remaining dates. Still kicking myself for missing that Allston show, especially since I'd say this is easily AOTY for me and likely won't be topped; even without picking up the box set at the show, seeing some of these new songs live would be amazing. I'd go to their last date at Asbury Lanes, especially since I have family there I could stay with, but it's a super long drive and I gotta work the next morning. I'm willing to bet, being the last date of the tour and being the only Jersey show of the tour, that's going to be a hell of a set. Super jealous of those who make it!
There were still sets for sale at Chicago last night.

I can't imagine myself wanting to listen to much from this album besides "Matthias Replaces Judas" regularly, but I'd still consider picking up a copy.

Aficionado LP for $3.50. Anyone who passes that up is actually stupid.

Meh, let me know when A Santa Cause gets pressed.
I'd buy this in an instant. Unfortunately, Punk Goes Christmas is more likely to happen.

I don't understand what's strange about pressing the new record from an established and, in my opinion at least, excellent band. This isn't a cash grab reissue of something readily available in used bins or a greatest hits album or whatever. It's exactly what should be getting pressed, and it's only $15.They really will press fucking anything, won't they.

Y'all are crazy. This album is awesome.

PM'd you.

They do, in fact, have the new 7" on this tour. It's a test press like most other Tiny Engines releases recently. I think the merch lady said there were 81 of them, but don't quote me on the number.
