Yeah, I received word it was shipping on the 24th but it's still waiting for the shipping sticker to get printed or something according to FedEx? No idea what's going on.

Received shipping notification today! Hurray!

Yeah and now there are outrageous prices on ebay for it. Yay! 

Unless I'm crazy or their search engines are terrible, I'm not seeing any. 

I know this is a slim-to-no chance, but if anyone got the Vinyl Me Please edition and is looking to sell their copy, PM me.

God this is just a stunning album.

I've heard worse but I've heard better. The vinyl feels a little flimsy. 

You guys realize that Visions was a pop album too, right? Pop music isn't synonymous with bad music. 

I like this album better than Visions.

All three of my discs definitely sound fine! Also, to be honest, it's really amazing how much of a difference it feels like when you're waiting ~30 mins to flip the side (as opposed to 15-20). On many occasions have I gotten up early to switch the side to note there's still a song (or at least part of a song) left.

I can't detect any issues either and my side 1 sounded amazing. (shrugs). And I love how long the sides are. I love being able to just drop the needle and listen. Especially since so many records these days have close to ten minute sides sometimes, which seems ridiculous. 

I got mine super early. Tuesday. It's beautiful and sounds amazing. Wonderful package.

BullMoose emailed again and said this has been delayed until the 23rd. Not too bad. I'll wait it out. Album still too good for a boot.

Just got word from Bull Moose that this is delayed again. Not sure if this is an issue with Bull Moose or...everywhere. I'm guessing everywhere. 

Kamasi is doing a live Facebook Q and A today (11am Pacific, 2pm Eastern) to celebrate the vinyl release, in case anyone is interested. 

Anyone know how to unsubscribe to a thread? I keep trying to click the link in the emails I get from this thread, but it's a dead link or isn't working. 

The annoying part about all this is that if I don't get in for a deluxe edition, the remaining $50 of my original $75 will just be held until they sort out all of the orders in November.

Think of it this way -- you might forget, and then you'll be able to buy yourself two (or more) records! Just in time for the Holidays! 

Order number has nothing to do with place in line to get colored vinyl. Sorry to ruin some peoples days on that one.

 

I have had in the past friends whose order numbers were lower than mine not get colored one when i did with a higher order number.

They do for some companies. I know Merge goes in a certain kind of progressive order. 

I wonder if the order numbers include numbers for the Deluxe or something. Because right now they seem mad random. 

These numbers aren't making any sense.

Do the extra-long sides make it sound compressed or anything? Very curious...

I really like the Music Matters Blue Note reissues and they sound great on my set-up. Of course I don't have a $3000 receiver or a ponytail, so I don't know...

I think the original ITR press release for the limited first Fuzz album said 500 copies. And then they decided to make more because they like money. I also seemed to remember a lot of people complaining, claiming they wouldn't have spent $50 to $60 dollars if they'd known the run was going to be 250 higher (???).
