Burkazoid

This album is definitely growing on me. The songs do blend together a lot due to the similar sound, but to me it's such a pretty, warm and comforting album. I've found myself playing it over and over even though I wasn't too thrilled with it at first.

It sounds great! Very crisp. Really love how the whole package turned out. Got the red as well.

Yeah it does have that light smokey effect. Think I actually prefer the blue, going by the pic.

I doubt it'll be cheaper than the current Amazon UK versions at £28.99. Is there any actual confirmation that there will be a black pressing? All I've seen is mention of coloured pressings.

Ended up ordering the purple whilst ordering the Oceansize "Frames" repress.

I managed to grab a red earlier. Really didn't expect them to sell out so soon. I'd fully expect them to have more black in shortly. Mike mentioned 100 red and 3000 black on Twitter. Also ordered the white variant of Self Preserved and the purple variant of the new Maybeshewill while I was at it.

I can see his point. I prefer albums on vinyl in particular keep bonus tracks away from the main record. A 7" with it and something else would've been lovely though

Jesus, just read the stuff about that on Wikipedia and watched the Warsaw performance on Youtube. Holy shit, he really was fucked up during that performance.

Yeah I got the vinyl of Dyed In The Wool Ghost from Bandcamp when it was released - some great tracks on that. Wasn't as keen on Mike's solo track he released recently though it wasn't bad, just not up to par in comparison to other material he's worked on. Would love some more new British Theatre releases.

I thought their drummer was incredible going by the records, but I also picked up from various interviews that he was the reason they split - basically sounded like he always demanded the band play stuff that shows off his ability, at least that's what I took from it. I would guess they were a difficult band to get the sound mix correct for in a live venue.
