Really not feeling this album. Like the 2 strong tracks at the start (tracks 2 and 3) but then it just all gets very meh to me. Shame as I've been a big fan of the majority of his back catalogue. Will still be checking him out on this tour though if I can - always a great show.

When you read that back, does it say you have the butt-to-butt plus extension?

Open Bar is great, apart from two things: the fact that the vocal verse melody sounds incredibly similar to Always Be, and the high pitch whine in the background of the vocal track, which is really annoying once you notice it.

I always thought the remix on this EP just felt like filler. I wish they'd done another original or cover track instead. Still though, very excited to finally get this on vinyl.

$34 + import tax to the UK? I think I'll just go with the digital copies for these. Looking forward to hearing them.

Short film / music video for tracks 7 - 12: This is definitely my favourite stretch of the album. The video is so damn goofy and fun.

The standard version is only £15 from Amazon UK so I think I'm going to stick with that, rather than shelling out for some extra splatter. Can't wait to hear this!

£25 delivered for a single vinyl is really overpriced, but I do love this album so going to have to bite regardless.

I'm not seeing him until the end of August (in Dublin). Could not be more excited - every single review or experience I've read of the recent tour has nothing short of amazing.

Can't wait for this. The Monitor is easily one of my favourite albums of all time. I really liked Local Business as well, though it took a while for me to fully appreciate it. The production on it is pretty horrible though. Will definitely be buying this. I'm always skeptical with double albums but also have a firm belief that +@ can pull it off.

ASIWYFA have always had such great energy in their performances, even back to the first time I saw them in 2007 (I think). Their performance completely sold me on them. Really can't wait to see them again on this tour. I've only listened to the new album once and I'm not completely sold on it, but I imagine seeing it live will make me appreciate it a lot more.

Have other shows on this tour been seated? Just asking since the Dublin show is, which I was surprised by.

Got tickets for the Dublin gig this morning. Also, Asthmatic Kitty wrote this about having the 7" on the EU tour: "We will most likely have the 7 inch available in black. And maybe some other fun stuff!"

Pre-orders are up on Thursday. I actually really want the art print moreso than the vinyl.

Sufjan announced an EU tour (2 Dublin dates, woohoo!) so I asked AK if they'd have the 7" on tour with them over here - they just said they weren't sure yet. At least there is hope!
