As far as I know I just need the US and Euro black pressings of Within and Without.

 

I checked your link above and the shop verified their copy was black. Ordered! Thanks for that man. Much appreciated.

Checked out the label's webstore. Seems like he's got some releases under his belt and has an eye for cool variants.

Would love to see them carry through with this.

As you can see on the right, those are the two that are referred to as red.

bottom being preorder and is a definite opaque red and the top being one i bought during their 24 hour shindig which is, as we all know, more of a translucent orange.

the regular pressing of within/without is white. there is no black vinyl as far as i know.

There is a sub pop version on black vinyl. The shrink wrap has a sticker similar to the loser edition foil that says includes MP3 download or something like that. Also there is a euro press on black.

Sounds is on everybody's radar, yes. There's no timeline, and there's no agreement on who is going to do it - obviously I want it and am in the running for sure, but there are some (much) bigger names than me out there interested, so no word on how it'll shake out. The guys seem to want to keep it on CCR, but like I've said in the past it's a complicated situation.

 

So the good news is either way it sounds like it's going to happen.

I'll grab whatever tapes are readily available. Not going to stress over tapes. Vinyl is first priority.

They're all really painless if you end up wanting them. Contact dreamland_tapes, 7fwords, coawai or therubbel2000 on eBay. They're Indonesian cassette dealers that sell store overstock. Got all four nfg tapes from randomly messaging them.

Can't say enough about how legit they shipped too. Tracking, well-packed, they sent pics and described to the most minute detail. Must be the culture.

I saw an update on this that the label will have the records this Thursday (the band also confirmed this on their facebook). The band also posted that there are only 21 copies of this left online.

I have been waiting patiently for this for soooo long. Happy that they're at least close.

Wonder if they they will do a tour press again.

I can sympathize with MisSigsFan. Deafheaven is great but you need a "hook" to get your less adventurous friends to listen sometimes.

If your friend's favorite band is City and Colour its gonna go in one ear and out the other when you tell them to listen to a black metal band they've never heard of.

These were supposed to be all black not all pink. Kind of a crazy deal..sort of like ordering a copy of Daisy and getting The Devil and God instead

You got lucky with your percentages on the pink. That much is for sure! But why change your tune so quickly when you came here looking to help people get a record they want? Even if you just helped one person get a pink for cost and have your way with the other three, karma comes back around ya know?

To clarify. I am not talking about myself when I say let someone get a pink for cost, I have the rsd pic disc. And passed along another rsd pic disc to Sapst16 at cost. I have been in this same situation and made a guy's day over taking a cash grab.

If you would have read my first post right, you would have known that I didn't say record store I said "store." This happened to be a store with a vinyl section of maybe 25 records. They didn't have anything remotely close to what I listen to and I knew that some people were looking for this release so I thought I'd be a nice guy and pick them up and maybe in return get a record that I've been looking for. And about my record collection, I have about 250 records right now and I've been collecting for about 3 years. It's funny that the only type of store that sells records must be a "record store." I come on this thread because I'm trying to help some people and myself out at the same time and you guys feel it necessary to make jokes. It's not like I'm trying to sell this for anything more than cost or a decent trade offer.

 

/2000 soundtrack your local store has 4 of = /75 tour press. GOT IT.

So I just walked into a store in Dallas and they have 4 copies of Mondos first pressing of this..I'm def thinking of buying them to use as trade. Anyone willing to trade a Coasta black tour press for one of these

AWLWLB actually had twice as many, since a repress was put in before we even got the first 8000, but that's besides the point.

The point is that we did not press too many.

We pressed what we needed, and will be needing to repress shortly.

Uh...I've seen this guy's reviews before. Ok.

I am bothered by his closing on saying that don't let preconceived notions and "genres you toss this LP into" and influences and trying to be, but yet that is ALL he has been going on and on about it prior to that! Ok dude.

Not mad. Can't say that I like this guy's reviews(I find his spastic style slightly annoying) but he did alright with this. -1 because thr reuse of the guitar sounds on the Pecan Tree was a stylistic choice and not a rehash as he perceived it to be. I think the "preconceived notions" bit was just a cliché closing statement he would probably take back now knowing how it conflicts with the bulk of his review. He should have just said "go into this with an open mind it's good music"
