  1. wow, haven't heard a word about Quit for many years... they were the staple opening-act for every fat wreck/epitaph show of my childhood in Miami! they obviously had friends in high places, I'm surprised they never got bigger than they were. I do remember the older scenesters all kinda hated them for some reason...
  2. Preorders should be showing up in peoples mailboxes today and tomorrow! Thanks to everyone who got an order in. I threw in an Eccentric Pop magnet with each order, and one person got a test press! There are still a few marbled vinyl copies up at http://eccentricpoprecords.bigcartel.com/ thanks!!
  3. Awesome. I have been waiting for a US-based, reliable lathe cutting service. Expect some work from me soon!
  4. Guess what just showed up at Eccentric Pop headquarters??!?!? Both variations for sale RIGHT NOW at http://eccentricpoprecords.bigcartel.com/ !!!
  5. i waited for the go and still got the tie-die.... must've slid by with just a few seconds to spare. feeling very lucky!
  6. just got an email - i got the tie dye version!
  7. Update! This is scheduled to arrive tomorrow! I still have about 65 of the blue/white/black swirl vinyl, and I hear they look amazing! http://eccentricpoprecords.bigcartel.com/ PLUS one preorder will get a test pressing thrown in for free! And I'm sending a free, totally rad ECCENTRIC POP RECORDS magnet with each preorder!!
  8. I'm sure someone else probably pointed this out, but this is especially relevant for international buyers: time changes tonight at midnight for daylight savings time. Sorry, not trying to make this any more confusing, but I'd be super bummed if I was out late and forgot to change my clock and missed this...
  9. derrr.... I just read through the last 4 pages of posts, and my brain is melting... I may leave my computer on all night, just in case tomorrow it decides not to boot up for the first time ever right at 11:50...
  10. About a decade ago, Todd sold me an amazing selection of Clearview records (double clear LP "Live at the Orifice", two variants of Shout at the Queers, I lost my Marbles, etc) for almost no markup above original retail. Records arrived within a week, and he even threw in a bonus copy of Angry Samoans "Back from Samoa" for free. We had connected through Ebay, but the sale was completed outside of Ebay. Dude is solid gold in my book!
  11. The third release from my band will be EXACTLY what you have just described A split 12" with six tracks from Edmonton, AB's OLD WIVES and 9 tracks from Iowa City's THE BLENDOURS. I feel like its a risky record to make, but I also happen to think they're two of the best unknown bands on the continent at the moment... So we'll see how it goes!
  12. Thanks guys! Yeah, I'm really, really excited to have this record coming out on my label! Its crazy to think about, but I've been listening to this band for almost twenty years now... still one of my favorites. I haven't contacted Its Alive yet, but its on my "to do" list. So far my distributors will be: USA: Interpunk others coming soon! EUROPE: Surfin' Ki Records (Italy) others coming soon! ASIA/PACIFIC: Hyper Enough Records (Japan) I'm also going to contact Brassneck in the UK... any other suggestions??
  13. Every record I have sent through my other distro (Go Zombie Records) has had this problem since the new shipping rates were introduced. I ship through a contract postal unit, and was thinking maybe this is the issue? Packages have all been arriving just fine, but yeah, the numbers are useless for me
  14. I'll post a list of confirmed and potential distros this evening. If you have any recommendations, I'm all ears!
  15. ALSO, you can stream the record here: http://parasites1.bandcamp.com/ ALSO... I'm gonna throw in a test pressing with one of the pre-orders!
  16. Hello VC! I just put up the pre-order for my label's first release! The legendary Parasites most recent full-length, Non Stop Power Pop Vol. I! www.eccentricpop.com This is one of my favorite records they have ever done! Pressing is limited to 150 on the swirled colors, 350 on blue... Thanks! Travis / Eccentric Pop
  17. I know I'm new here, but thebiglebowski, you seem like a thoroughly solid dude!
