haha i'm not surprised they are half way through writing a follow up, half of the songs on this album had been previously released
regardless of that, fucking great album
Totally, but have you compared the versions? Ha.
Also, can you name any unreleased songs by them right now? I can't think of any. that probably means no released songs for the next one...

Okay, so this is definitely WHITE on one of the colors. The other is supposed to be BLUE.
-
Huh?
-- The 2nd pressing will be here this week. One of the colors is BLUE. Not sure what the other one is, but I'll know soon. Should be either WHITE or CLEAR.
yeah, it's just some days of wait if it'll be here this week
cool, i hope i get both colors
stupid question: any preorders?
-- I believe that you can pre-order at VC (and get a chance to win a TP, right?)
-- You can also pre-order at NI, simply by ordering the number of records you want and specifying in the comments section what colors you want (but no TP contest).

Yeah, the orange was expected to be a mix with white so it would be in the same "family" as the blue and pink, but... I'm not going to complain. Ha!
The White pressing of 600 is on the way now. Not sure when it will arrive.
First press was 500 each color.

Speaking of the inscriptions...
Is there a list of all of them listed anywhere? I go to that first when I get a new record.
...and Moonpies...
That damned Orange/Brown marble is still eluding me as well. Should have never traded it years back. i didn't think I was going to miss it as much as I do.
I personally despise online listings of record inscriptions. Talk about spoilers!

var, what colors are left??
All three, just don't sleep on it. They will be around for a little while, circulating through distributors, stores, and --go figure-- Vinyl Collective!
-
Yeah, I figured it out. The band accidentally got 10 or 20 extra covers in the haste to get them shipped out. Perhaps these were un-numbered. The records shipped straight from the plant, covers from us. Band assembled their copies. So they probably used some of the "extra" covers on accident. Ah well, best intentions.
i just can't win with you guys.
Shhhh, I think what you MEANT TO SAY is that you are so stoked that you just got #001/200, right? (wink wink)

Lifetime "lifetime" LP
First press nearly gone, but that just means you have to scour the wasteland, or maybe just go to an actual record store. Yeah, that means leaving your house, I know, I know. :'( :'( :'(
Second press ordered and due in, who knows, 2-3 weeks? White vinyl this time.
-- Up your coconut with a butt.

Since Var has become everyones new favorite VC board member, and everybody is asking him questions, I figured I'd ask one of my own.
I have a blue copy of "Entrails" that I have had for over a year, and is not part of the most recent press of 21 blue.... I have emailed almost everyone @ No Idea an d have got no response. Could anyone help me with the numbers and/or pressing of my copy?
pic:
Amazing record on a great color. Otherwise, who knows? If it's not on the discography section of our site, then... we dunno. Cool color though.
-- They are playing THE FEST 7. Three new splits too.
-- Oh, and despite your hospitality, I hate you all. Except for this guy. He has a Holy Mountain record. He's alright.

All 200 are numbered. If anyone truly has an non-numbered one, let me know.
It's weird seeing my handwriting in so many Ebay auctions. Dicks.
mine isn't numbered.

-- Seriously, I know one of you freaks has all the ancient GAUZE vinyl and you don't want it. Trade it to me. For real.

are the numbered ones from the 100 that no idea sold?

I'll be hitting the post office early next week, so your copy will be on it's way soon.
holy shite, this got bumped again!
-
If we do, it will be like 200-300 copies, probably $10-$15 cost. Not on the top of the list, but on the list somewhere, eventually.
Nice!
Oh really? I was thinking that pri¢e would put people off. I was thinking $15 was high, though understandable for a short run. I could also do a picture disc, but then they'd be EVEN MORE $. Ha.

I didn't read the thread much, but I do wish the quality was better than 160. Not complaining, just saying.
Then do what you'd normally do if there was no code whatsoever, goofus. hahaha.
(I am not condoning any illegal activity.)

Thanks, I guess it will remain a mystery for the ages..It wears black on the outside, because it is black on the inside.
Nope. They look the same. The entire pressing uses the same covers / inserts. We only printed them once... and then slowly used the covers up over several pressings.
No one should care. At all. Too may other variations to worry over.
I think that some of the records had an inscription and others did not. I think Gristlejaw figured that out at some point... but gainesvillebandpage.com seems like it is not working any more. He had it all up there, the freak of nature!
-
Is there a way to tell a difference between the first and second pressings on the black versions? I assume Var or someone else will know this..

There was also an immaculate German bootleg of "dear you" in 2002. It was the same color, real printed jackets, the works. The only difference was a small black bar that ran across the bottom of the back cover explaining why it was bootlegged, etc. Seemed to be fan-made, but who knows. I saw it in Germany and never again. I didn't need it, so I didn't get one. No clue how many were made.

If anyone reading this is even remotely considering paying $138 for the "pizza a/k/a orange" pressing of FUEL... please write me first!
Also, the majority of the 1/2 black 1/2 white FUEL records were sold LOCALLY in Gainesville. Ha! It was the unofficial "Gainesville edition".
-
- Are you ever going to press Almost Heaven?

The top 2 are tests. That is Andys picture, but I think it's outdated by 2 presses. (He stopped at 20th though).
He had a complete RAR set until the 21st press came out, I believe.
Yes, on both counts. (Will trade tests for original GAUZE LPs. Maybe DEATH SIDE and other old Japanese bands, depending.)
-
pssshhh, LIGHTWEIGHT!!
-
You're welcome. (Ooops, I did it again!)
-
I believe all of the albums (LP and CD) are going to come back on Blackball, including UNFUN. I think that's the long term plan. I'm not sure if that is why the drought or if it is just Revolver taking a breather before another round of pressings happens.
There are THOUSANDS of 24 HR and Bivouac out there. Might not be in stores, but they were in print for years and years. Don't pay too much.
