I ordered four different albums on 5/18 that were all backordered - two have since shipped and the other two were cancelled today. Plan on using the $20 in vouchers on The Cure's Disintegration.

Picked it up at Aquarius in SF for $36. Could have saved $5 by ordering from Amazon but I want to listen to it this weekend (plus I like supporting the little guy whenever possible)

Just picked up tickets to see them live in SF on July 25...agreed that they are going to be huge soon and I'm stoked to see them in a small room.

Monday morning bump with a bit of info....I messaged the band on Facebook and they got back to me, saying the Canadian version is indeed sold out but it will be released in the US in July.

I'll get on board and give away The Bends and Kid A if I win.

I saw these guys open for Of Monsters and Men last night and loved them...of course their album is no longer available on vinyl according to their webstore but I heard it might be re-released via a US distributor this summer. Does anyone have any info either on where I can find the original pressing or if/when the US version comes out? Thanks!

I made a quick run to Amoeba SF today to pick up the new Vampire Weekend and saw that they have Agaetis Byrjun in stock for $31.95. I picked up my copy a couple of days after RSD from Norman records for around $38 shipped so I don't feel too bad but thought some of you might want to get on it.

Picked up a copy at Amoeba in SF today - they had at least 25 copies of the white vinyl in stock

I had to work in the morning and didn't get in to Amoeba (SF) until noon, ended up with: Mumford - Live at Bull Moose Junip - Junip (was supposed to be colored vinyl but is plain black) Cure - Kiss Me (I was told they were sold out of it but looked below the shelves where they put the back stock and found a stack of like 10 of them...told the guy working and he started handed them out in minutes) Was bummed I couldn't find Sigur Ros but ended up buying it online from a shop in the UK (pretty sure it's not the RSD version but I don't care)

FYI, I saw Metric in concert on Thursday night and they were selling copies of Fantasies at the merch table for $25.
