Also, I'm not into hip-hop at all, and the lasthip hop record i could listen through was 19 Naughty III, but still...

Sheer talent, vision, cultural relevance, musically progressive

This record has more in common with Curtis Mayfield or Prince than any hip-hop record from the last 20 years

He's channeling Tupac so hard on this record. The lyrics are incredibly powerful and I'm a white dude from Canada, can't imagine what I would feel listening to this if I was who the message was intended for.

I'll sell you mine if you want to pay the $18 for shipping from Canada. Although with the exchange rate being as it is it probably wouldn't even be that bad.

it blows me away how many thousands upon thousands of gimmicky 7"s they press. do people really buy this shit?

From a record store's perspective, it's kind of a crapshoot ordering these things I find (and all RSD stuff in general). Some will be hot and sell like crazy (Ghostbusters thing from Black Friday) and other titles will be sitting around forever (Zareeika boxset). There's definitely a market for the gimmicky stuff though, it's just weird to see which people go for.

Demons I hear is great too but I never had a ps3 so I've never played it. 

Shame, Demons' Souls is great, like a modern day Megaman but an RPG.

Yeah, I haven't really been following the details because I want to go in knowing as little as possible but I assume it's similar to how multiplayer worked in Dark Souls.

Pre-ordered this game for $15 and have been playing the beta. So great! You'll love it if you're a fan of classic Zelda, Secret of Mana, etc.

Halfway through it now and I'm surprised at how bad it is. Just feels very boring and lots of rehashed ideas from old songs.

For me it would depend on what you want to do in the future. You say the hospital would give you better experience and more opportunities in the future. I think it would be worth it to endure a stressful period if it will allow you to do what you want in the future. A few years in a not so great position is better than a dead-end job even if you might enjoy it more at the moment.
