Didn't they mention something about waiting until after the primaries for Doug to officially start so as not to draw attention away from the campaign? Announcing that Remi abandoned ship and needing a new chief of staff is not the best publicity. As far as the politics in the show goes, I find that to be more realistic than most things that happen.

this record is really damn good

This season felt completely pointless..like what the hell happened of importance outside of the very last episode? Felt like one really long and extended joke at Putin's expense. 

I agree Doug kept me watching as he's the only character even remotely interesting and the novelist character wasn't bad. Remi did nothing but cry about Jackie all season, the Frank-Claire dynamic is so stale at this point, all the allusions to Frank's homosexuality seemed so forced and totally pointless at the same time. This show started going downhill in the second season but it really crashed and burned this season for me.

Can't wait to see that Flaming Lips stuff sitting around the store in a years time like everything else they release for RSD

The only thing worse than hearing about RSD constantly is hearing about Brand New. I might hibernate til May.

I've been on the reverse of this situation. Shipping a record and the guy claimed he never got it. Without tracking there is no proof I sent it at all and I was forced to refund the buyer the money, and I was out a record. I don't think there is a way that both of you are going to walk away from this happy.

It's my opinion Mark was mostly making a comment on how ridiculous music press can be, jumping on any little stupid thing and making it a big deal. That whole War on Drugs thing started from a comment he made at a show as a joke and the press blew it was out of proportion.
