I haven't been all that excited about any of the releases by both of these labels for a while. Maybe I'm just being more selective because of the prices or the bands they're releasing aren't that interesting, though it's probably both.

Its both. STB did a 25% off sale and i picked up a few things i had not purchased yet. I remember the days when it was a mad dashto get anything from them... was what text wizards was born from i believe. 

I think i saw stb is doing a new toke record which is cool. They seem to just release the same bands though. and their hardcore label did nothing as well.

closest option i had to see him was on real gone tour when he played about 3 hours away. Sold out almost immediately and he did the thing where you had to show ID at door to get in to stop flippers/scaplers. Great for that, very hard when the venue said you couldnt change names on tickets. 

If I am ordering from the US store why is shipping 20 dollars?  makes no sense...

Listening to the new With the Dead. Not sure I'm digging the vocal approach on this one. A little Atriarch-y.

The vocals are awful. Glad i didnt pre order it. Made it through about 3 songs and turned it off. 

I got the new primitive man in the mail yesterday. Pretty excited to see them at the end of the month with bell witch.

This thread can hit its slow points from time to time.  To Freki's point alot of stuff starts picking up in the not summer time.  Way more shows are starting to come through my area in October that are of the stoner/ doom variety.  I think i went to like one all summer...
