  1. Props to jon720 for the trade on the A.N.S....the griptape on the jacket is gnarly
  2. My God that record is gorgeous! Haven't heard the band though. I had never heard the band before I got the record myself....great album, great band! I will now have to pick up their other record(s).
  3. I have to agree and say that this is one of the nicer Fat Wreck packages I have seen recently...
  4. I ordered two copies and only one showed up. I emailed TRL and will enjoy this one until the other arrives.
  5. +1...either way, have fun hunting...they are out there for a fair price.
  6. back on topic... Props to punkrockjeff for hooking it up with the Eating Lamb LP...
  7. My band just ordered 500 similar 7-inches from URP, and I found at least 3 degrees of variation in the "multi-colored mixed" vinyl. That's just the "main" color, the mixing within varies from almost none to some decent marbling, but nothing super crazy. The other 500 were on translucent green, so not too much variation, but for the price of the "grey/purple", we couldn't pass it up...that's probably why you see so many records with that color scheme...
  8. Clash and Sex Pistols 7-inch singles - "Complete Control" b/w "City of the Dead" - "(White Man) In Hammersmith Palais" b/w "The Prisoner" - "Tommy Gun" b/w "1-2, Crush On You" - "The Magnificent Seven" b/w "The Magnificent Dance" - "My Way" b/w "No One Is Innocent"
  9. i've seen the queers live, but i would fucking love to see the independents live, i love them. I am almost ashamed to say that I had never heard the Independents before Monday night...but they did put on one hell of a show, as did the Queers.
  10. No Idea orders came in...I picked up the Landmines LP kinda impulsively based on hearing their name mentioned on the board, and got some free 7-inch records by bands I never heard of (Two Day Theory, The Moon and Sixpence) to give a listen to. They threw in the CD-R and DVD, so I have to say it was a decent haul. I am stoked on the Faraquet LP!
  11. Got to see the Queers and the Independents last night...killer show for a Monday night in Tampa! The rest were either picked up at a local record store today, or delivered yesterday.
  12. Not a "mail day", but welcome additions to the collection. I saw Mount Eerie perform today...great intimate show that brought back memories of when I saw the Evens play! * The Microphones - "The Glow Pt. 2" 3xLP * Mount Eerie - "Lost Wisdom" LP * Mount Eerie - "Dawn" LP * Mount Eerie - "Black Wooden Ceiling Opening" 10-inch
  13. It was actually supposed to be called STKAS, but the people at the pressing plant objected and Timmy Armstrong wasn't going to go to bat for a band that wouldn't sell that well, hence the sarcastic new title. I never knew that...makes sense.
  14. I believe you mean Shoot The Kids At School. Nah, he was right...Mediocre Generica was to be released on 9-11-01...was it actually released that day?
  15. I would go for chronological order, but that's just me.
