  1. I would say: Ampere/Ringers - split 7-inch on Pale Green/Gray/Pink - 2nd Press - Ltd to 4 of 600 ...and of course... Worldwide Zoo - "Roots Deep" b/w "Dust:30" 7-inch test press /3 Does it count if it is your own band's release?
  2. backed. i hate it when people expand their musical tastes past punk rock. total fucking sellout. You're right!! I just threw away all my jazz records...I always forget to consult the punk rock rulebook when looking for records...
  3. ...and another... I agree that the Screeching Weasel and Vindictives Ramones cover albums are the best I have heard so far.
  4. I wouldn't say cheesy, but that's just my $0.02...great band that formed after another great band ended.
  5. Not too bad for a test press...right? ??? http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=150291617202&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:IT&ih=005
  6. I work for office depot...so I get to fuck people just like you... : Seriously, it is a bunch of bullshit...that and the fact that some printers come with "starter" ink cartridges that run out after 20-something prints, forcing you to shell out $30-$70 for replacement ink cartridges. You think gas is expensive? Try $10 minimum for 45 MILLILITERS of ink...
  7. Backed! The last sentence sums it up! Seriously, in lieu of my lack of belief in deities, I think this stuff is way more interesting than 95% of stuff on TV, the radio, or the big screen. Like the other dude said, if it weren't for the work that these scientists and ones like them have been doing, you probably wouldn't be posting on this board. I am geeking out on this fo' sho'.
  8. Got some love from Hopeless today! Here is the story: Back in March I ordered two D4 records ("Midwestern Songs..." and "Vs. God"). A month or two went by and no records. I emailed Hopeless to check the status and they told me they were awaiting a shipment of the "Vs. God" LP. Fair enough...a few months went by and still nothing. I contacted them again, and they told me they were still waiting for the shipment, but could refund my money and still send the records. I said don't worry about the refund, I don't mind waiting. Last week, I decided to email them again. This time, they told me that they no longer had (or were carrying I guess) the records and said I could either have a refund or trade the records for two of equal value. I chose the latter, and picked the two in the first pic, and also gave them a list of alternates in case they didn't have the first two. At the end of the email, I told them to feel free to throw some extra stuff in the package just in case they needed the extra shelf space, and hence the Hopeless love... F.Y.I.: the Nobodys "Smell of Victory" LP is still sealed since I already have a copy on pink vinyl.
  9. Yeah...you tell 'em : Don't buy the ticket if you aren't down for the ride young-blood...I'm just saying...
  10. Exactly what I thought.... Bad Dudes...I remember that as a coin-op! They used to have such to the point video game titles.
  11. +1 Justin Maybe it was done intentionally to create some hype...you never know with D4. Seriously though...take some Midol and chill out. The world won't end because an album is leaked, and shit talking on a message board sure as hell won't stop anything. [/rant]
  12. Got my copy today...beautiful! Thanks to Pat for doing a killer job with this one....soooooo worth the wait. Looking forward to the First/Second repress.
  13. Patience pays off...such a beautiful package Stoked on this one too...amazing packaging on this one as well!
  14. Yeah probably...j/k The Pistols weren't the best, but that was the whole point. They deserve their place in history regardless of how good their music was or wasn't. Just my opinion...Johnny Rotten is sorta a tool though :
  15. +1 I'm just burning doin' the neutron dance... That, and the "Axel F." tune is incredible.
  16. Ever fall asleep to Hypno-Punko? That shit gave me some weird fuckin' dreams. Yeppers!
  17. backed...even the C.M.B., but I would pick that up because it was campy/cheesy...and between $0.10 and $1.00 at a thrift store/dollar bin at a record store. Herbie Hancock "Futureshock" is synthesizer city. Still good, but not as great as his 60's to late 70's records...those jazz cats recorded SO MUCH music...
  18. That Johnny "Guitar" Watson album has to own...the cover art alone promises soooo much funk. I have the "Party All the Time" 12-inch single. Funny story about that one: my band used to cover party all the time when we were a two-piece bass/keys/drum machine "weird-mostly instrumental-electro-funk-jazz" band with me doing vocals :...we stopped playing it after we got a drummer because it got a bit too close to gimmicky for our tastes (it was the most requested song haha), so I told people that Eddie Murphy sent us a letter telling us we could no longer play it. Maybe that's why people don't really come out to our shows anymore....hmmm... ??? "You never come home at night, because you're out romancin'....I wish you'd bring some of your love home to me...my girl wants to party all the time, party all the time, party all the time" CLASSIC!
