Many of these tracks could end up being unreleased for a reason but I'm riding the goodwill Petty's team and Warner have earned from the job they did on The Live Anthology and buying this.
Most of them are just alternate takes or live recordings anyway it looks like to me. Not sure Petty ever recorded a bad song though. Will be great regardless, IMO.

Good heads up!
Here’s an article.
For what it’s worth, the track listing certainly didn’t have an extra albums worth of Wildflowers era material. Would assume/hope the Wildflowers stuff is still coming at a later time.

Petty channel on sirius XM let the cat out of the bag. New box set. “Tom Petty: An American Treasure”. 4 CD set of unreleased recordings out Sep 28. Googled it and found a listing on warner Australia.
Havent seen anything about an LP version.

Edit: Looks like they took the page down. Was 60 tracks I believe.

I was lucky enough to get this before it sold out years ago. Great sounding vinyl. Highly recommended.

These guys are great. Highly recommend everyone checking them out. Was lucky enough to be able to catch one of the first shows in their tour last year.

Heads up guys...Activity. Black shows sold out on their site now....guessing they are putting up clear.

Looks like they put another colored set out for RSD. Stumbled upon it on discogs. First I'd heard about it.

Wow that looks a lot cooler than mine. I figured they were all the same basic color. Mine is basically a blueish grey with very little streaking of different color in it.

Just an FYI to those who ordered the VC variant, each copy will also come with a CD of the album as well.
Not a huge deal, but my copy showed up today. No CD, only a couple of loose labels in the box. LP sounds good though.

Got the Diggers Factory copy today. Nice heavy black vinyl with a printed inner sleeve. Hard to beat considering it was only 8 bucks shipped from France.

Even better.
So much worse than I was anticipating.

Looks like the cheap Digger’s Factory version is getting ready to ship.

Incorrect, it's 180 days (6 months):
"The first step is to open a dispute within 180 days of your payment and try to work out the problem with the seller through the Dispute Resolution process in the Resolution Center. "
Huh. I stand corrected. I was looking at this:
"Buyers can file chargebacks 120 days or more after an order’s been placed."
https://www.paypal.com/us/webapps/mpp/security/resolve-disputes
The "or more" must have been the kicker.

You have 6 months to file a claim on paypal.
Orders have shipped out...and others haven't.
Roll the dice how you want.
No, you don't. You have 120 days. I would guess a fair amount of people are bumping up on that timeframe, as I was.

This fool knows nothing. your record will most likely showed up, my brothers copy showed up like 3 days ago.
That or it doesn't....and the time period for submitting a claim through paypal lapses. Either way.
Let's be fair. The guy doesn't make much effort to appear like he isn't trying to take your money. Won't respond to emails; lets paypal claims expire with no response, etc.

Hmm, at 13$ shipped, I would totally snag that red. Except my research has led me to believe that entire pressing is F*kd.
Apparently the majority of the red LP's have a radiohead album on Side D. Gotta love that quality control.Trying to decide weather or not this is a deal breaker.... I do like radiohead after all
Hadn't heard anything about that. Where did you read 'the majority' had the wrong side D? Only thing I see is one guy on Discogs talking about getting two bad copies from Amazon.
FWIW, I got a red copy from Bullmoose and it is good to go.

Went in not expecting much, but left impressed. Will definitely use this in the future. Keep it up.

This album is my first go around with these guys after hearing so much buzz about them and I gotta say this stuff is awesome. Not looking forward to going down the rabbit hole with the amount of variants, etc. they have though. Luckily I never double dip so hopefully it all goes easy on my wallet. Really good stuff though, wish I caught them when they came around recently.
With all that said, can anyone recommend one or two of their favorite records? There's so much stuff it's a bit overwhelming.
Mind Fuzz is best by far, IMO.

Just came to post my latest experience with SSD. Ordered the Petty Live Anthology when it was claimed to be warehouse find, cancelled when I found out everywhere had it and some with cheaper price....have been waiting almost a month for a refund. Emails unanswered, calls unreturned. Have a paypal case open that hasn't been replied to.
