I'm at work until 10:15 or so. After I get off I'll be working on my podcast for a little bit, and I'll probably be in bed by 12:30 to get up at 7 tomorrow and do it all again.

Also, these are my favorite chips/snack food at the moment: The bummers are: they're expensive, and the bag is seriously less than 1/3 full of chips. It's like I forget that every time I open one. I've seriously considered buying them in bulk on Amazon.

I bought a bag of the Jalapeno Popper Doritos the other day; they're all right but I kinda feel like I'm going to die if I eat more than a handful at a time. My favorite flavor is still good ol' Nacho Cheese.

I don't know why I even live here. I mean, I grew up in Ormond-by-the-Sea and went to school in St. Augustine. I really figured I would have left after that. But here I am a year later, back where I fucking started. Maybe it's like Lost and everybody stuck here is Desmond; we can't leave until we finish something. Yeah, the lady and I are hoping this'll be a temporary move while she finishes school at UCF, after which we'll move somewhere a little more affordable.

My girlfriend was telling me about some hipster bar in Winter Park that was really small (above or next to a bakery, I think?) but had a huge beer selection. I can't remember the name of the place, but yeah, I want to go to there.

It's cooled down a little bit here (relatively speaking), but on Sunday it was 99 degrees here with a heat index of 113. Unfuckingbearable, and unheard of.

Yeah. Bands tour through Orlando fairly often and there's even a few locals who are pretty solid. Plus they have some record stores (okay, two if we're not counting Hot Topic). The area in which I currently live (Melbourne, Brevard County) has none of these things.

Maybe there's been an ownership change or something, but the people who run The Fest have generally recommended avoiding this hotel on the website in past years. It's probably not a good place to stay if you're looking to party.
