I don't know if Barrie was planning on starting this thread or not, but I'll be on GIR tonight doing a takeover of half the show, playing music that made me the man I am today. Some of the in-between banter was pretty funny; it's a shame it wasn't left on the record. Most of it centered around the pronunciation of Ray LaMontagne's last name and Brian Fallon doing an impression of Dave Hause from The Loved Ones.

Most of the major label reissues I've seen have been on 180 gram vinyl; that's my best guess as to why they're so expensive. I've yet to spend more than 14-15 bucks on any record I own.

The only record I've gotten from eBay thus far is Snapcase's Designs For Automotion. 10 bucks and they sent me two copies of the record, one of which I ended up giving away in a contest on my webzine. I bid on a copy of The Ergs! Dorkrockcordrod on yellow a while back, but quit once it got too high. I think it ended up going for around 35 bucks.

I hope all the pressing info is back up when I wake up in the morning.

Mine came in the mail today. Granted I only live 90 minutes from the store but that should indicate that they have indeed sent them out. I've got an extra copy, too, but I have no idea what I'm going to do with it yet.
