  1. Far and away their best record yet. Like, it's not even close. It'll be worth the wait guys, trust me.
  2. Yeah, this kind of came out of the blue, which ain't a bad thing. It's only been three years since they've released new material, but it seems like about five.
  3. Other than the NEV delays, this is wonderful news.
  4. Anti- probably is a better fit, but yeah, I'm just glad his records won't be so difficult to track down in the future.
  5. Get a load of these prices. Sheesh. http://www.amazon.com/Morning-View-Incubus/dp/B00005QG9I/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&s=music&qid=1241011676&sr=1-2
  6. http://www.lambgoat.com/news/view.aspx?id=12644 "According to The Boston Phoenix, Cave In recently regrouped to prepare a new vinyl-only EP, which will be available in July through Hydra Head Records. The release is titled "Planets of Old" and will feature four tracks recorded by producer Paul Q Kolderie (Pixies). Additional information can be found here." Fuck yes.
  7. If you're into those sorts of things, yes.
  8. Yes, yes you should. And as for the dates, it's always been the same weekend as the Florida/Georgia football game in the past, so yeah, I'm 99.9% sure that's when it's happening.
  9. I also submit "We're Not Alone" by Dinosaur Jr.; the last two minutes or so of this song blow my mind. Prepare to have your faces melted:
  10. Indeed! And the music video rules so hard and is not cheesy at all. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fLqdFnbHAlw&hl=en&fs=1
  11. Also, the only record store in Brevard that I know of is Caroline's House of Records in Cocoa Village. It hasn't been open very long and I've only been there once; it just seems to be used vinyl with plenty of classic rock records. I did buy a sweet copy of Born To Run there, though. http://www.cocoavillage.com/node/376 Oh, and if you're gonna be at Disney check out the Virgin Megastore, they're going out of business and all the vinyl is marked down 20-30%.
  12. I live in Brevard County and there really isn't a whole lot to do here but drink.
  13. this. this right here. This squared. Such a killer record. There's not a bad song on it.
  14. Sorry to hear about that. Your photography is really good. You're also a babe, but don't tell my girlfriend I said that.
  15. Backed. I also assume that the original poster has checked out the various countryish bands on Suburban Home, considering what message board we're on and all.
  16. That's a pretty good deal. I may have to pull the trigger on this.
  17. Check out The Only Sons. They've got their new record up for free download at their website. http://www.theonlysons.net/ Get some Dwight Yoakam records while you're at it, too.
  18. The first reviews I ever wrote in my life at the age of 15-16 were posted on a Geocities page. I'm surprised it lasted this long.
  19. While I agree about the law itself being stupid, what seems stupider is wanting to drink something in a 40 when it's readily available in 12, 16, and 24 ounce containers as well as on tap at many, many bars, and being willing to pay some ridiculous shipping charges to do so. Is beer really so much better out of a 40? I also live in Florida and I've never had one, but I've also never understood their mystique, for lack of a better term.
  20. "Having a Party", and it's on both their Under The Influence 7" and Bad At Breaking Up.
  21. Yeah, this is a damn fine excuse to buy a sub.
