Haha I did the design and layout for that release too but not in as much control with the specifics (like the art direction and printing specs like matte jackets as summer death was standard gloss). Minus the gatefold.. I believe this to be better quality packaging wise as far as the art goes. The images I had to use for the summer death re-issue had basically the same problems as the AIW first press in regards to blurry photos. Audio wise... it was remastered by an engineer the band chose but they decided it sounded worse than the original so the audio will be the same for this press. -

I agree haha. That's why I wanted to give it the proper treatment this time around, and then some (for a DIY label ha) -

I've been putting a lot of work into the new packaging design and I'm really excited for this to drop. This time around I was way more hands on than just choosing the variants and can confirm the following upgrades: - New back cover (the original back cover rules but was very blurry) - Matte jackets - Printed inner sleeves w/ lyrics and liner notes (matte finish) - New Side A/B Labels - Japanese obi strips (Limited to 25) - 3 new vinyl variants - Screen printed jackets w/ test presses -

It sounds good for the quality of the actual recording. I feel like I heard some more of the "life" of the not-so-polished original recording, but still emphasizing the kick and other things that should be. I wanna say it sounds better overall. Definitely doesn't sound worse than the Victory Records presses.

I also wonder if they're gonna fix the typo on the back of the box where "Plague" is spelled incorrectly before this goes off to print ha. -

I went for it last night although I basically just wanted Hexeda. I wonder if they'll all be individually packaged in a 12" jacket within the box set -
PO NOW: Kanye West - Jesus Is King (10/25)
corey. replied to Tommy's topic in Vinyl Collective Message Board
I've barely listened to it or any of Kanye's last few albums, you just responded to my opinion which never stated it was "good" but simply said it's not as bad as everyone is saying. I literally do not care either way. xoxo -

Seems like it's "cool" to hate on this haha. Not even a big Kanye fan, but this album isn't as bad as everyone is claiming imo. -

In for the VMP yellow /300. -
UO packages their records in a LP box, inside a bigger box with bubble wrap. If it's not shipped out from a local/random store, that is. It's pretty solid like 90% of the time for me haha.
