I had a chance to check these out today. The vitalogy packaging is really amazing. The cover is embossed and the lettering is gold foil. It's worth the buy. VS. sounds great, haven't had a chance to check out how sounds Vitalogy yet.

Shipping costs for TR are kinda crazy for canada. I had two 2xlp's in my cart and a 7". Price was 35 US plus 34US for shipping. Removed the 7" and it was 17 US for shipping. whaaaaaaat?

So the weirdest thing happened to me last night. I just recently moved to a new place and hooked up my sony turntable to the pre-amp and then the pre-amp to the receiver. When I did this, turned on the pre-amp and then the receiver, I was picking up a foreign radio station. This used to happen with my guitar amp at certain venues but never with a turntable. I tried a bunch of methods of different outlets and finally realized if I picked up the rca cable off the floor (it's 12 feet long) the radio noise went away.. So I switched out that rca cable with a smaller better cable and had no interference. Is there a specific kind of rca cable that will avoid grounding issues ex. gold plated? I was in fear the pre-amp was picking up something because it only happened when the pre-amp was on. Has anyone had a similar situation with a different grounding problem relating to turntables?
