I just sold my copy for less than $20 on Discogs. I didn't think anyone wanted it that bad. The first press took years to sell and eventually got marked down to $5.

Yeah, I checked Discogs to see if it had ever been pressed and saw I could get a copy for like 25 right now. I'm not a big fan of picture discs. I'm guessing that's a factor for a lot of other people as well.

What exactly are they going to do to prevent seam splits 100% of the time? They happen regardless of mailer type, the only way to prevent them is to open the record and ship it outside of the sleeve however then it's not "new" anymore.

Every album I've ordered from them has had a seam split. I would much prefer them shipping the record outside of the sleeve. Labels do it all the time with their new releases. 🤷‍♂️

got my VMP purple in, with the most GNARLY seam split on the top of the jacket... its like fully blown out.

now the question is, do i contact them and ask for a replacement? im not a VMP member but got the member shipping price and all that lol.

Mine has a big seam split as well. Seems like a company whose entire business model is centered around shipping vinyl to its customer shouldn't be having this problem.

Mine is color vinyl. That's crazy that it affects all three discs, are you sure it's not your stylus? To get 3 separate defective discs like that is close to being a miracle.

I thought the same thing. My stylus is pretty old. It doesn't happen on any of my other records though. After I posted this I also cleaned an absurd amount of dust off them and it got a little better. Still a lot of pops during high volume parts of the songs. I've been meaning to replace my cartridge anyway.

I just did and it was great. It definitely works much better than I thought it would as far as being listenable is concerned.

Also for those wondering this is a perfect pressing I'd love to know which plant they used. I didn't hear a single crackle or pop throughout all three LPs and the 7". Sounds like live music.

Really? Mine is cracking and popping like crazy. Maybe because its the color vinyl. Thank god everything else in the box is so great, because the three LPs are nearly unlistenable.

This album isn't nearly as bad as some of you guys are making it out to be. A few duds, but there's still a few really great tracks on here.

I like it a lot more upon second listen. Your Jokes Aren't Funny, Call Me Anti-Social, Happy Being Miserable, Barbed Wire, and Short and Sweet are the standouts for me.

Also just got my Yellow variant today. Looks great, haven't listened to it yet.

Been listening and can't make up my mind about how I feel about the album as a whole.  The production on it is amazing.  The songs are definitely New Found Glory...reminds me a little of Radiosurgery but with electronic elements/synths thrown in.

I feel the same way. It's so synth heavy. It's fun but it's not their best. I really liked Resurrection, particularly the first 5 songs, so I was caught off guard during my first listen. I also really, really like Happy Being Miserable and was expecting that to be indicative of the rest of the album, which it clearly isn't. Hopefully it grows on me.

I think It has some of their most cringe-worthy lyrics yet though.

Definitely no black vinyl for this.

Wouldn't be surprised to see a few copies go back up online at some point.

    You're giving me hope.

The customer service rep I just talked to on the phone told me he had no idea when, if at all, it would be back in stock. He only said that if the page still exists for the vinyl, there's a possibility it could go back in stock, but if the page is completely removed, it's done.

I said it in the blink splatter thread and I'm kind of half joking, but if any die-hard blink collector out there wants to trade for the first press purple California I will definitely trade my copy, or if anyone has an extra copy of this, please PM me!

Blonde has a great chance of seeing a physical release now that Frank is independent.

Very doubtful. He'd have to secure clearance for the samples he used if he wanted to do a physical release. Considering he sampled both Stevie Wonder and The Beatles (twice), I really doubt we're going to see a physical release of blond anytime soon. It's the same reason Chance the Rapper has never done physicals for his stuff.

Anyone have an unwanted purple they'd like to palm off? Missed the initial preorder and don't really want to shell out $75 to include two other variants I already have...

I might. I saw the HT variant and snagged it since every other blink album (with the exception of TOYPAJ) I own is HT splatter, I couldn't resist completing my collection. The upper left corners of the sleeve and jacket of my purple are badly bent, which really bums me out, so if I do decide to part with it, it will probably be relatively cheap. I'll let you know.
