i can't see AJ going to the NL. i really think he's going to stay put in the AL east. he'll either be pitching with boston, new york or toronto next season.

watched that on bluray the other weekend and it was fucking breath taking. as was hellboy 2 (directed by the same guy).

They sold a ton of these online. That's where I got mine anyways. #274 / 300. Guess I should have read the top of this page first. Totally beat. at the time i didn't really "collect" vinyl though. if i saw records at shows i'd usually pick them up. but that night i was super fucking drunk and was not thinking straight. choke/.moneen. shows usually did that to me.

.moneen. - the red tree (dbl. lp). they were only selling it at shows for a bit. i figured it was a safe bet to buy a couple more beers rather than the album seeing as how .moneen. were playing in my area at least once a month at the time. turns out that was the last show they played around here for about a year and a half. and now i can't find the damn album anywhere. apparently that was pretty much the only show they sold them at (the choke farwell date in toronto).

the sale was based on quantities, and we don't have so many of the over the james records. how many copies do you have left? do you think they'll go in the next week? i really shouldn't buy anymore records until i get paid next friday. but if it's almost gone i should pick it up.

No. they're probably my all time favourite band (seeing as though they were one of the first bands i really started listening to ... the other was the police) BUT they are so full of themselves it's not even funny. i'm sure they think selling that signed box set for $500 is a deal.

15.98 is the retail price for most Epitaph/hell cat vinyl. That is the price you will more than likely see it everywhere else. Until we bought directly from ada, our price was more like $18.99. that's crazy. mainly because it's too rich for my blood. shame too. there are so many albums there i'd like to pick up.

I think it only cost them $30,000 for the pair. So it's not that big of a deal. I think it's a nice risk. The Pirates have so much excess money it's no worry. Who knows, India might become a hotbed for ball players one day. i didn't realize they got them for so cheap. it still seems strange for a team to try to develop 2 guys who have never played baseball before though. if only michael jordan had been given 4 years to develop.

they'll end up getting lost and forgotten in the minors. according to that article they're not going to be ready for majors until they're in the their mid-20s. it seems like such a stupid risk. why risk trying to develop these guys who know nothing about the game when you could easily find someone their age who was been playing ball since they were 3. does india even have major league baseball. if they don't how is that opening a path to an untapped market? unless they plan on signing cricket players.

didn't they end up releasing Subliminable Messages themselves? i know it came out after they got dropped from victory and it was held up forever because they didn't have label. i'm almost 100% sure they ended up just releasing it themselves. i used to love these guys but after they released bad mothertrucker i lost a lot of faith in them. the last time they played around here my friends band opened up for them so i went to the show. there was about 100 people there. 70 of which left after the openers. it's was pretty sad.
