I ended up filing a claim through PayPal, and thanks to their 180 day money back guarantee, I was refunded for my purchase (minus 1 cent). I was really expecting them to to say, sorry there's nothing we can do because Bandbox has essentially gone under, but that was not the case.

The process was pretty easy through PayPal. The only glitch was I couldn't complete the forms for the full amount of the purchase. I kept getting an error stating that the claim could not be for the full amount..... not sure what's up with that, so i filed the claim for the full amount minus a penny. I received my refund today.

Ugh, I just found out about this today. I'm out about $250.00 Canadian for 4 albums and "International" shipping I preordered back in October.
Worst part is, the record company also had a preorder press of the albums i wanted, but it's sold out now....

nothing could make me feel older than this post. 30 years already?!?!?!?

Sorry, maybe i missed something..... I got a shipping notice this morning the spring album has been shipped to me, but i thought they were all going to be shipped at the same time? Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter all shipping together....  am I mistaken?

This is a letdown. I managed to find one of the bootleg versions at the beginning of this thread, it's in a beautiful gatefold with lyrics printed on the inside. I hope they at least do printed inner sleeves.....

Also, let me say this about the bootleg, it's ok. But i expect this official press to be exceptional.

I've been listening to all the previous albums on streaming media this week at work in anticipation of this release (and the 3 to follow) and yeah, there are a few dud songs in there, but i'm glad he keeps punching out new music. To me it's better than nothing.  There are many other bands i've followed for 30-35 years or more that rarely put out music, or have stopped altogether. 

I've pre-ordered.

And i think the new single sounds good. It sounds like Weezer. Which is exactly what i want.

$27 USD to ship to Canada. Almost $51USD total for 2 song 10 inch.
Too rich for me.

The mastering was terrible and the records were notoriously noisy. If you have one that sounds clean that's great.

It'll be from the same shitty plates they used last year, don't bother if you actually want to listen to it....

I was hopeful they would forego the distortion or whatever that new technique is. I couldn't get into the last album due to that. I guess i'll skip this new record as well, based on the single. 

I would like to know this as well.. I have recently seen this and Wild Mood Swings have been added to their respective discogs pages.

Has anyone received these yet and can give a review?

Ah, I didn't know if was taken from a book cover. Maybe there is some relevance btwn the two with whatever that book was about....?

Whenever i've received items the shipping notices always come from pledge. I'm not certain if the items were shipped from pledge or the artist, i honestly didn't pay much attention when the items arrived.

I inquired about a refund for the Matthew Sweet record i was waiting on. They took a couple days to reply but eventually said they refunded me.... that was Thursday or Friday last week and i have not seen the credit to my credit card account yet.... I hope they have actually refunded me.
