my sister and her partner are in the states at moment. shes working, he is doing fuck all. anyway, they met a couple at the grand canyon from san jose. they own or work for a construction company that has a box at the sharks venue. anyway, they offered to put them up for the night and give them use of the box. man im jealous

we only have one rink in the state where i live. soon to be two. but theyre both around 90 minutes away from me. ive done it probably 3 times in like 10 years. its not something i always do. im sure it would help to have correct fitting skates. the hire ones always wreck my feet and i have to keep sitting out. being an all star game, it wont be as brutal as a good cross town rivalry though. theyre not playing for anything. pretty keen to go along though.

sounds like i should have a crack at it then. after trying to skate a few times ive gained so much more appreciation for guys who can do it, then play a game at the same time. im horrible on the ice

So the NLL All Star Series is coming to Melbourne. Rather bizarre since Lacrosse would be about as popular as a kick in the face down here. Anyway, it looks like a good sport to watch. But the ticket prices are a minimum of $AU55. I cant decide whether it would be good enough to spend that sort of money on going. Do any of you guys like this stuff? Ive never seen it. Just looks like a chunk of hockey mixed in with some basketball and european handball. Any thoughts or comments?

just got home from the shows. band had tour vinyl for sale. bought 20/50. came with tour cover and numbered on the back. turns out its gatefold. tour edition is just white vinyl. i can post pics if anyone is interested
