  1. YUMMMMM! I don't know that I've ever been to a Whataburger, could have just been contaminated somehow? That's a bummer though.
  2. I feel the same way. When I hear their stuff, it's really catchy and funny and smart...and I dig it, but something makes me think I shouldn't enjoy them as much as I do.
  3. Nice! I'm not a tape guy myself, but that's not too shabby. Eurythmics are awesoooome.
  4. Oh, just a heads up to you guys too...If you're into Wo Fat, I ordered The Black Code from Best Buy for $20. We'll see if they come through with it...it isn't looking too good though, the other stuff in that order shipped already and they have to "special order" it. Who knows though. I'll be super stoked if I get that guy for $20.
  5. I do too, I haven't had much luck there recently, and around here they all raised their 12" vinyl prices to $2.99, which is absolutely absurd. On the plus side, I've gotten some just absolutely ridiculous shit from them and Salvation Army that they just didn't know how to price. Usually Salvo is the better of the two for deals for me, but I've seen some bonkers stuff at Goodwill before too. Any more I usually just get books at Goodwill though. I've found books 1-11 of the Wheel of time there so far, and all 6 of the original Dune books. (and a book club edition of Salem's Lot, which is one of my gems. Wish it had been a first printing...but if it had been I would have sold it. Cuz...y'know C.R.E.A.M.)
  6. Thank you, sir. I was pretty darn happy about it! I'm going to have to grab some old PS1 games I haven't played yet.
  7. Just knabbed one of those small, old PS1 with the screen that clips on the back, controller, car charger, wall charger, a/v cords and carry bag (though the bag is for a Dreamcast) for $15. Looks like I'll be keeping that and a copy of FF8 in my car, suckas! (pretty stoked about it.)
  8. Blip blorp. Went to Goodwill today, got some pretty dec stuff. Pretty stoked about it. SHARESIES. If anyone is interested in that Green Day 7", just let me know. I'm not a huge Green Day fan, but I know people on here seem to look for that 7" sometimes and I got a darn good deal on it. It's the black repress from '91, but still.
  9. Yeah, I'm honestly surprised I don't have Gods yet, seeing as it's my favorite from them, but Warp Riders. MEHHHH. I saw them somewhat recently and was disappointed by their live performace. They sounded pretty much exactly like the songs on the albums...but it seemed like there was no heart in the show. It was a real bummer. They did play pretty much every song I wanted to hear though, so that was nice. Forgot to add in my last post, my Earth records should be here next week too! Bees Made Honey on red and Hex on white! Woo. Gonna be a great mail week for this guy.
  10. Went a little overboard this week...this is what happens when I don't have anything to do at work... Ordered...5? I think? of those Glassjaw reissues at $6 each from Amazon to give out as gifts, might sell one or two below MSRP to people on here too, haven't decided. Grimes - Visions, been waiting on this, they had a good price when I was ordering those GJ albums. Bought a bunch of stuff off Tetsuodaironman on here: Talking Heads - More Songs About Buildings and Food At the Drive-In - In Casino/Out (Grey w/ Pink Splatter) T-Rex - Electric Warrior James Brown and His Famous Flames - Please, Please, Please and John Coltrane - Plays the Blues Best Buy, just because I was bored and have been meaning to pick these up for a while and it was a pretty good price on Wo Fat: Wo Fat - The Black Code (Don't know which color or anything, but $20 was too good to pass up...and then to get free shipping I got..) The Sword - Gods of the Earth to finish off my Sword collection, didn't much care for Warp Riders, so I'll grab that if I come across it for like $10, otherwise, whatever. And... Mastodon - Crack the Skye to finish off my "Mastodon albums I actually care to own." collection. Didn't care for The Hunter, probably won't get the new album unless, again, I run across it for about $10 somewhere down the line. Knock on wood those GJ albums go through, I wouldn't mind not spending that money though in all honesty.
  11. Love. It. That's some funny shit if you're not the one having to deal with it. Sucks you had to though!
