  1. Also just saw the high school posts, you guys had some tiiiiiiiiny classes. There are 3 major High Schools within 10 miles of each other here and the average senior class is like 400-500.

Yeah, I was gonna say, I think my class had like 500 people and we were one of two big schools in the district.

  2. First time seeing the clear copies too.

These will be going up in my store very soon - there have been a ton of issues getting these pressed and after all the issues I just want them all done before I start selling them and they can ship immediately.

I appreciate this. Too many people jump the gun on releases and then orders get cancelled or messed up. Thank you Matt. (Also thanks for the update.)

  3. Honestly, I think there's something to love about all five albums. Its taken me a long time to get to this point where I can really appreciate them all on their own. There's definitely way less fuzz bass on AS and I think that and the fact that the instrumentation is much more representative of the instruments that would be used for this style of music that they're borrowing from and overall its much cleaner sounding is what makes this album a bit harder to swallow for some fans. But I have to say that hearing "Sinai" (with its sick drum groove) and "Haqq al-Yaqqin" melodically transform over the course of their 10 to 11 minute duration is an excellent listening experience and worth the price of admission. The rest of the album is great as well.

Yeah, I mean, it's a pretty sweet album overall I guess. Maybe it's less that I don't really enjoy it and more that I don't see myself listening to it as often as I'd like to necessitate my purchase of an album on vinyl. I'm trying to limit myself lately because my other hobbies are expensive too :/

  4. I just want to let you guys know that you don't have to be friendly and nice to everyone. If you don't like someone just ignore them. The pussification of humans these days is sickning.

I'm not nice to everyone, I just don't see how being a dick to someone you work with is ever going to help you in the end. If I did that to someone at my job they could really hold up my work and make shit a living hell, which in turn makes things harder on grieving families because everything takes longer.

I know it isn't the same for everyone's job, but anyone being able to make your job any harder sucks, so why not at least be nice to people you work with.

If someone is being an asshole out at the bar, or just out in a normal place not related to where I work I have no problem telling them to get the fuck out of my face.  Being a "bigger" dude, I usually don't have that issue though.

  5. someone orders food out of nowhere, love that one.

we were celebrating my friends birthday a few months ago. He ordered some deep fried pickles, eats almost the entire basket then looks up at us and slurs 'did.... did i order these?'

I've definitely been there... damn, I love fried pickles.

  6. I can be nice, but if annoyed I become an enraged animal hellbent for destruction.

So, what are you supposed to do?

There are polite, socially acceptable ways to let people know you are annoyed.  I don't understand all the angst and rage over someone asking a simple question.

I know it can get annoying to be asked the same question repeatedly, and you'd expect people to remember something after you tell them. But people forget. I know I'm a somewhat forgetful guy.

But I like to try to treat people the way I'd like them to treat me. I was an asshole for a long time, and it gets to a point where you just get tired of it.
