I forgot to say that my stuff came in late last week. all was decent (Volbeat semi-warped but still plays okay...) except the Touche Amore which was so warped it looked like you could surf on it.
I ended up trying the oven trick on the Touche Amore instead of returning it 'cause I already used the dl code before checking the record out completely; I half pulled it out, but it was messed up on the other side... argh. I think I ruined it, but not all is lost I guess. I can make a hat maybe
It's too bad the sale's over, but I'm 85% pleased with what I got.
I would 95% guarantee if you made even a slight stink about it being warped, they'd ship you a new one.

deja would be cool... but no one has brought up afi's sing the sorrow... now that sounds like something src would do
I didn't realize Sing the Sorrow was so hard to come by. I've got a copy I'm not attached to that I would gladly trade to someone for Second Stage Turbine Blade if anyone is interested. I'm not that into any AFI post-The Art of Drowning.

pfft, it's half over at this point.
It's only 9:18 here

I think most people saw the gold go up, ordered as fast as possible, then SRC put theirs up the next day and nobody could justify buying another/wanted to cancel and wait for the refund from SSD.
Personally, I jumped on the gold variant thinking it was going to be the limited one, but then decided to stick with it because I think it matches the album artwork better than silver, even if it is less limited. It's not like I'm going to be reselling this anyway, so I'm sticking with the version that appeals more to my aesthetic taste.

Awesome! Looking forward to (hopefully) all three of these!

I know there has been quite a bit of push to get Coheed's Good Apollo Vol 1 and In Keeping Secrets done through MOV. Looks like that is gonna happen outside of MOV.
Is there talk about these getting pressed then?

Trying so hard not to like every single comment.
This almost makes me wish I was still on facebook.

I have never been more excited to watch Facebook status drama unfold as I am in this moment.
More please, this looks so good.
Edit: I say this not even knowing who these people are.

Emailed GoHastings and they said they never got the item (deluxe edition) in their stores so they're canceling my order. Do all pressings of this album sound flat? If that's the case I'm just not gonna bother buying a copy.
GoHastings sucksssss.

I've always wanted to try al pastor but I'm always a stick in the mud with trying new things. Just don't want to pay for something I don't like.
My lady is the same way, she always orders the same food when we go out and it really kinda grinds my gears. She knows what she likes though, so there's that. I always like trying new things though. Al pastor is usually kind of sweet/spicy. I really prefer when it's pork rather than beef, but today I think it was beef. Still good though. I'm not as huge a fan when it actually has chunks of pineapple in it, but it's still good even with it. Definitely give it a go sometime! (preferably when you can get a taco for a buck or two so you're not wasting too much money if you don't like it.)

I just had a chimichanga and some sangria for dinner and I'm in such a good mood now. I love mexican food.
I had an al pastor burrito for lunch and it just destroyed me. So good though! If only I hadn't had two services today it would have been perfect.

I think what he's saying is "if you don't like the price, don't be a bitch. Don't buy it on vinyl, just listen to your digital copy and suck it up instead of whining about the price." Which neither I nor he was directing specifically at you by the way, so please don't direct your anger toward me for trying to clarify.Just saying you don't have to pay $45 to hear it, brah. The vinyl medium carries with it a certain expense. Turntables aren't cheap. Receivers aren't cheap. Speakers aren't cheap. No one who truly listens to records in it for efficiency.
His follow up post just solidifies that this is his point, as he talks about the other expenses involved in this hobby.
He may also just be trolling you.

Did people in central PA say jawn @ your high school?
I think that's mostly just a Philly thing from what I've gathered.

big dogs > medium dogs >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> small dogs

Do we know when this is going up on Animal Style yet?

Afraid of needles here too... tattoo needles do not penetrate into the body though (this is how I deal with it); I also sleep through tattoo sessions. 9.5 hours in the chair is my personal record.
Damn! I've almost fallen asleep but I get afraid that I'll move too much in my sleep

Nice... looks like your thigh
Yes'm good and pale! It took 5 1/2 hours, and boy was I sweaty at the end.

I know this probably belongs in the tattoo thread, but since we're talking about them this is my latest tattoo:
Much thanks to Greg Whitehead at Scapegoat Tattoo, Portland, OR!
Edit: that was the fresh pic, right after he finished. It's been a little over a month now.

I was never a big Letterman fan, and I really like Colbert...I just don't know how he'll do in a Late Show role.

West coast! I don't think I can stay up late enough to see it though unless I get tomorrow off.
