Any chance you got a lead on another of those Our Lady Peace records on blue?
There's one on discogs for $50 CAD right now. Honestly I was surprised to see it at this sale because I thought the blue was a tour variant.

Went to a record show and picked up a bunch of the Tragically Hip records for $15/20 each. I figure I can build my own box set over the next year, starting with the best albums.
Also got Our Lady Peace - Spiritual Machines on opaque blue.

Yay! Got one. Was kicking myself for missing it the first time.

Buckley Live at Sin-e 4LP box set. Fuck, I'm in.
Interested in this as well. Dreading the pricetag.

Still no official word from Matt's site, but these popped up on Amazon.ca with an April 6 release date. Not sure if that means they won't be available for the first dates of the tour with OLP.

PM'd about the Matt Good
-
Old thread, I know, but hoping that Broken Social Scene s/t record is still for sale...
Tried PM'ing you OP. Let me know please.
-
It only took two years, but a bunch more records from the MG/MGB catalogue are being pressed.
Per Matt's Instagram, in spring 2018 we will see Lo-Fi B-Sides/Loser Anthems, Audio of Being, and repress of Avalanche.

Mine showed up yesterday and the Babadook is unglued so he just flops out instead of popping up. Pretty bad rip in the jacket too

Price on this set is slowly dropping on Amazon.ca.
Down to $385 CDN with free shipping. If it gets closer to $300 after Christmas I may pick this up.
Whoa. Sorry for the monster URL. Posting from mobile and don't know how to fix it.

yeah, i had a $6 credit from a shipping issue that amazon had previously so mine was only $29ppd. really stoked as this is tied for my favorite album from them with happiness. wonder if it will be on blue vinyl like the discogs entry.
Northern Volume lists it as black:
https://www.northernvolume.com/our-lady-peace-spiritual-machines-180g-vinyl-lp-record/
I was walking past a Sunrise Records when I read this thread earlier and popped in. They had some but there wasn't a hype sticker indicating coloured vinyl. I wonder if the majority are black.
-
The split red one looks nicer. Any idea where it's from?
-
The Babadook will be for sale December 8, according to Waxwork's Facebook page.
-
FINALLY.
My F13 and Exorcist haven't shipped yet. If this goes on sale Friday, I wonder if I'll be able to combine this one as well.
-
Excorcist is up. Blue smoke or clear smoke.

Finally made the trek down to Paper Bag Records at lunch today to pick up my frosted copy.
Packaging looks nice. Comes with download code and lyrics sheet. Jacket is just a sleeve, no gatefold. The "frosted" vinyl is just kind of a translucent white. It reminds me of the ACx10 LP set that Arts & Crafts did a few years back.

If anyone is wondering about the variants for Friday the 13th: The Final Chapter, Light in the Attic has the "camp crystal lake" variant online now.
So it would seem that the "Tommy Jarvis" variant is the more limited one available from Waxwork's online store, while "camp crystal lake" is available from other retailers.
-
Not unexpected but still completely heartbreaking.
Listening to Josie Dye barely keep it together on the radio this morning made the news even harder to hear.
Rest in Peace, Gord. Thanks for everything.
-
Aw man. I would love the 3LP version of this.
Is this likely to sell out at MondoCon?
-
I just noticed that The Babadook has (finally) been added to Waxwork's website as "coming soon":

Thanks for the heads up!
Product page was just reactivated too, with a "coming soon" bit added. https://www.shiptoshoremedia.com/store/albums/mother-2
This is the actual music from the game, right?
I thought I remembered some release being re-recordings with vocals and everyone being up in arms that it wasn't really the game music. I might be getting mixed up with something else.

I posted this on the Tragically Hip thread, but I guess it's relevant here too: http://exclaim.ca/music/article/the_tragically_hip_treated_to_comprehensive_vinyl_box_set
Shipping just to Toronto is over $90, which I guess is not that surprising...
$500 box set with $90 shipping. I guess it is 13 albums, but yikes.
I'm sure these will end up in stores.

I downloaded mine around 8:30-9pm EST last night and it went OK.
I like the album. Reminds me of Hearts of Oak.

Three of my favourite things: Matthew Good records, free shipping, and coupon codes
I ordered AoB and Loser Anthems/Lo-Fi B-Sides from Music Vaultz on Wednesday night and they arrived today. Great for shipping speed but they were sent in what is essentially a pizza box and wrapped in brown paper.
Luckily they weren't shipped over a long distance so they're in good shape. If someone is ordering from outside of Ontario I would maybe be concerned. Just a heads up.
Also, why oh why is AoB not a gatefold? Such a wasted opportunity for the great artwork on this album.
