  1. Is this heading to retail stores or online mondo exclusive such as jurassic park?
  2. Id certainly take a bad ass variant/color scheme instead of a burlap sack, and even then it would be damn hard to justify..
  3. Is that vinyl 2001 variant just the standard color? If so that would be fantastic. Usually if it's standard black with a variant they'll usually say that the variant is 'randomly inserted' I'm not seeing that on any of the release info via the mondo blog and noisey article.
  4. Have 2 copies of Gravity available. Both are NM. both have been cracked to verify color, and are still in shrink. although one of the copies HAS been played once. PM me if interested.
  5. Just came across this via Pitchfork. New EP Coming this fall, 4 new songs on side a, and remixes of old songs on side B for those interested. http://shop.daisrecords.com/collections/frontpage/products/youth-code-a-place-to-stand-ep 100 on Blood Splattter 400 on Milstone 500 Clear Bottle Blue Youth Code’s latest release, A Place To Stand, is an expression of rage that could only come from Los Angeles. Perfectly capturing the frustration and claustrophobia of the early 80s LA hardcore scene but re-appropriating that aggression and melding it to the strict, pounding electronics of classic industrial. Recorded by Josh Eustis (Nine Inch Nails, Telefon Tel Aviv, Sons of Magdalene), Side A of A Place to Stand features four new Youth Code tracks that showcase the band exploring an evolved sense of melodic synth work and more varied tempos than anything they have released to date. From the pure adrenal rush of opening track, “Consumed By Guilt” and the Wax Trax-esque dance floor anthem “To Burn Your World” to the lush synthscape melodies of “For I Am Cursed” You can hear Ryan George and Sara Taylor perfectly balancing respect for their elders whilst creating something that’s uniquely their own. Rounding out the Youth Code originals on Side A, “A Litany (A Place To Stand)” figuratively stands out, as it is a spoken-word diatribe on society that encapsulates the feeling of the entire record. Side B of "A Place to Stand" collects four remixes of earlier Youth Code tracks, from artists as diverse as Corrections House’s Sanford Parker, Sub Pop signed avant rap crew Clipping., industrial / EBM mainstays God Module & the dark and minimal techno mastermind, Silent Servant. What makes A Place to Stand exceptional is Youth Code’s ability to coax raw, organic emotion out of cold, primitive synths. A trait that stems from the band’s peculiar genesis. (Matte finish jacket with spot gloss logo overlay! Limited to 100 on Blood Splatter, 400 on Milkstone, and 500 on Clear Bottle Blue) PREORDER NOW - SHIPPING 9/26
  6. If anyone has a gravity variant and is willing to trade for a standard black version with a batman 7" and/or cash PM me
  7. Bump. Have batman variants willing to trade along w/ standard copy of gravity for your variant.
  8. Thanks guys. Just purchased a first pressing clear blue/green splatter version of John Carpenters The Fog for only $55! Im pretty stoked given the fact i havent seen it listed for under $100 anywhere ive looked.
  9. Question about Assault On Precinct 13: I currently have the white vanilla variant but am looking to get my hands on the vanilla red swirl variant. On DW website, it says it's a mail order exclusive to their website, but i'm seeing it available through other online retailers. Could this just be a mistake on retailers part, as the sticker on the shrink wrap doesn't specify what variant, just that it is colored? Or does DW send out their exclusives to other retailers in the US other than light in attic? Only reason I ask is cuz i bought a copy off someone from discogs who claimed it was the swirl variant, but when i opened it it ended up being the vanilla. Don't wanna make that mistake twice.
  10. Thanks for the link. Question about the older DW releases since I only own recent releases "assault on precinct 13" and "in the wall", Does it state the variant/color of the actual LP on the packaging or is it random a la mondo? Just curious cuz i'd ideally like a blue copy of this at a reasonable price if at all possible.
  11. bump for all those receiving their orders. I was 0/2 on the variant game this time around. Help me out if you can!
  12. ordered 2 copies of gravity. both were black. made another thread about it but if anyone is willing to trade their variant for a standard + $$$ let me know please!
  13. SHIT. sorry. can someone pls tell me how to move thread? my apologies
  14. Looking to purchase variant of Gravity. Would prefer to trade my Near Mint standard version of Gravity + Cash. My copy is still in the shrink wrap and has never been played, I cracked the side to check the color and that is the extent of it. If not, also looking to purchase variant. I know this post is a bit premature cuz people are just starting to receive their orders but if anyone is interested please let me know! PM me if interested.
