Anyone else hear about what went down with Tom Alderson (Crosscheck, Drown), Ian Adams (Heavy Chains), Karebear (Suburban Scum? https://twitter.com/jordanxmckinney/status/627561952810635264 I had a hard time reading through that. No one in the world deserves that. Absolutely fucking horrid. Heavy Chains is off the Life and Death tour and Suburban Scum is no longer playing the Back To School Jam, but that isn't enough. Tom deserves justice. Fuck both of those bands and fuck you if you continue to support them. Here's to hoping Tom makes a full and speedy recovery.

First time I'd ever seen one out in the wild. It's not super uncommon to occasionally see a (cheaper) Lamborghini or Ferrari around Minneapolis, but it was a real treat to see a McLaren. I imagine there's probably only two or three in the entire state.

In other news, I saw a McLaren P1 while driving down the highway yesterday. What a ridiculously insane car.

Had an interview this morning, and just got a call about an offer not even two hours after I left the interview. The job pays really well, has awesome benefits, and seems like a really great fit for me. Stoked doesn't even come close to describing how I feel right now.

I suddenly have this massive urge to go build a bunch of shit with Legos. I have a huge box of them somewhere in my mom's basement, so I'm gonna try and track that down after work. I'm also thinking about making a trip to MOA just so I can go to Lego Land hahaha. Luckily I only live like 20 minutes away.

I don't think it's been mentioned in this thread yet, but This Will Destroy You's Live in Reykjavik record is incredible. Seeing them this Friday for the first time, and I could not be any more excited.

Nicky probably said a few swears and some kids probably got bent out of shape over it. They were awesome when I saw them last year.

They did have to drop off quite a few shows earlier this year due to medical issues.
