i know travis had said "the following week", last week, regarding the online release of Greatest Hits. But is it confirmed that it wont go up til the 17th?

Not officially, but it's just an assumption that makes sense brought on by the logic of others in this thread.

I just got this email

 

"It got deleted for what I wrote. I got it all packaged just send me your address through here. I'll ship it right away."

 

I guess it worked out, unless it just doesn't ship, but I do have faith in humanity yet. I was just concerned that he took my money and deleted himself.

Funnily enough, I just came across his Amazon store earlier today while looking up records.  One lady left negative feedback saying she accidentally ordered the wrong item and he replied by accusing her of taking food from his children's mouth.  Lol.

I start to wonder just how old he is hearing this, combined with my own experiences.

 

Since I had hie email, I found his Google+ account, and he posts what are seemingly the stupidest and most immature comments on YouTube. Seriously, I'm a little kid (as my profile clearly states) and he makes me think poorly of him.

I'm gonna say wait on filing a claim. It's monday, he can (and probably will) still ship, and the nice thing about paypal, is he can update you with shipping directly through email.  I'm just saying, give him the benefit of the doubt, and if in a few days you haven't heard shit, crucify him.

It does say that I can file a complaint if I want to, and I actually never knew that was a thing so thanks to you and horrorbusiness for suggesting it!

Did you try sending an email to the email address you paid it to?  If you didn't send it as a gift and he doesn't respond to emails, then you shouldn't have any trouble filing a paypal claim (as long as you don't wait longer than 45 days to do so).

I sent it on PapPal, listed as a payment. I'm not entirely sure what it would say for a gift. 

 

I emailed him in the last hour, but came here to see whether or not it was already known that he was scamming. If I get an email back I will post it here later.

It was that guy who claimed that he had a divorce and was selling money for records. People called him out as a troll and found holes in his story, but apparently a few people bought from him.

 

I made a huge mistake by not reading the entire thread first, and I just made a transaction with him by sending him the money for a record that he had, and he said it would ship on monday. 

 

Then, his account was banned/deleted.

 

I don't really know what to do from here. Did anyone buy anything off of him themselves?

 

PS The name was supposed to be "3 days ago?" but it got cut off.

Noticing a pretty big skip in my record on Dumpweed. Towards the end of the song during the instrumental guitar solo, it like skips and repeats itself for like .2 seconds. Anyone else?

I might, depending on the exact date. I will tell you if I do, though, since 6/17 is yet to be "confirmed".

It's not too much of a surprise or problem if the record is coming out a few days later...it's not the first delay we've seen. Just stay optimistic that S/T won't be delayed.

I hate asking questions in this thread since it is not always taken right, but travis said GH MIGHT be delayed a week for online and most stores. has anyone heard more on that? ive looked through every page and haven't seen anything else.

I think that in cases like this, it's probably best to just assume that it's coming out on the 10th, yet watch this thread religiously for updates. It's like innocent until proven guilty.

And i'm patiently waiting for my shipping conformation for Dude Ranch, It says shipped, but I never got an e-mail. Oh well i'll have to wait. 

The same thing happened with me. Granted, I had it shipped to my local store, but it should still confirm with an email. 

 

Anybody know how this works? This is my first purchase from the Hot Topic website, I got Enema on eBay.

Do you think most people will get a copy of GH the day it comes out? This & S/T are the only releases I'm worried about. But if I can stay up the day they release I should be good, right? 

As fast as I think it may sell, it does actually have a couple hundred more being pressed than the previous ones...if I'm not mistaken, Greatest Hits will have a start total of 3,000. Not to mention the fact that, if it sells quickly, there's no way in hell they won't repress it -- because it would have made money.

I saw previously somewhere that every double LP will be $24.99 and singles will be $19.99

What's with the edit and/or quality issues that I keep hearing about on EOTS, and will they be fixed? I ordered a copy from eBay and it hasn't come yet...but I'd get an updated, corrected version of it if it was available.

Isn't Hot Cash going to be going on when this goes up? I remember one of the guys at my local store saying the HC redemption was gonna be in June and I immediately thought of this and blink.

 

Unfortunately, I have tried to buy vinyl with Hot Cash, and the fine print on the coupon says that it's invalid towards CDs, vinyl, and some other things that I don't recall.

No I want Don't Panic as well. Such a good album

 

At this rate, we may have to wait another five years unless Hot Topic presses it earlier than that....

I might be alone in wanting this, but what are the chances of Don't Panic getting a press?

 

If it happened, I'd buy it twice.
