Going on the record to say I still actively like the Ataris. Also I own Hybrid Theory by Linkin Park on vinyl. It cost me 8 bucks at this cool little shop in Newport, RI. In my defense (maybe?) I also bought Gen X, The Locusts, and Living Colour. Also, I would buy Staind's second album Dysfunction. So, in conclusion, I guess I belong in this thread...?

Honestly, I would say it depends on the severity of the banged up-edness. I once refunded a dude 5 bucks because he had a seam split. It wasn't there when I shipped it, but the USPS happens. I just felt bad unnecessarily. Whatever. Because the dingbat used an envelope, I would straightup ask for at least $15, maybe they'll counter with 2/3rds and everyone is relatively happy. Seriously though, an envelope?!?

lol. The only standout performances were CoF, Killswitch, Voivod, Shadows Fall, Endo and all the mainstagers. I only REALLY enjoyed the 1st three I listed. The rest I was just "meh" over.

I mean, they sounded okay-ish, but they were SO boring. They just stood in place, barely moving. I mean they did their job, but their complete lack of stage presence ruined it for me. I liked them a lot more before that hot summer day.

I went to Ozzfest in 2004 and they were one of the headliners. They were a really good live band. I wasn't into them by this time, but it had a sort of nostalgic awesomeness about it. I think the best performers that day were Voivod, Killswitch, Cradle, and Manson. Korn was really good, Chevelle was awful, Disturbed (who I HAVE ALWAYS DESPISED) actually sounded "good" aka like their recordings. Ozzy, well, he is just really old, but he was the reason I went, so I have that under my belt.

I'll definitely agree that S/T addresses some serious shit. As the albums progressed I like them less and less until it gets to "Issues." After that I actively dislike all of it and did when it was released. Issues came out when I was in the 7th grade (?) and that was MY. FUCKING. ALBUM. That was all I listened to. Then I kinda moved towards punk and it was all "downhill" from there.

How much are 1st presses going for? If I can grab a different first press, I'll let you get mine. I don't exclusively collect first presses, but I like to have em. However, if it helps you out, no harm no foul. That version is the one I bought the day it was released in CT, so it's been played at least 5 times. Still sounds and looks spectacalar though.

It's tough and no one understands it (except youz guise). When i got in a copy of an album (different vinyl color) that was currently spinning, my wife was like "why did you buy that? There is one right there!" Then i showed her the difference and she asked me if i seriously bought another one because it was different. #misunderstood
