I remember reading somewhere their next album was going be influenced by thrash - I wonder if this is the same album or if that is something to be released later.

New song is great and the slipmat is super cool. Definite order.

Castle Face has a repress of Fuzz in San Fran. /300 on white and the rest black. Probably my favourite Fuzz release so now is a great time to check it out if you haven't yet.

Now up: Useless Eaters - Live in San Fran, Fuzz - Live in San Fran (/300 white), King Gizz - Quarters (/???, 4 colour Sherbert splatter).

I am definitely going to pick up the Useless Eaters but can probably wait a little bit and still get the limited. I have the ultra-clear Fuzz and original Castle Face copy of Quarters!, so luckily I won't need to spending any money immediately from this email.

Make sure you check out everything in the Live in San Fran series, the live White Fence might be my favourite release from Tim. They are releasing some really cool synthy stuff lately too. Damaged Bug and Jack Name in particular released great albums this year. Definitely one of, if the not the best label right now.

Yeah, that's an understatement, and another repress of Quarters inbound as well, I really wish they would repress there early stuff, I hate my dinged up sleeve for Eyes Like the Sky. 

I would much rather have a Eyes Like The Sky repress than infinite versions of this one. That isn't to say I won't be getting multiple copies of this album, but still. Looks like it is going to be Tri and US retail sunburst.

W-X reminds me of the first couple White Fence albums with zero of the rock influence. Not entirely what I was expecting but am still digging it. Tim Presley is the man.

Got this nice colored version in, what a great trip is this album, i like it very much!

How does it compare to other material? I wasn't huge into the last album but really dig some of their other stuff.

Haven't these been up since basically right after the first pressing sold out? There are only 27 available for purchase.

This album is so good. Probably ranks second or third in terms of King Gizz releases for me.

My hearing is terrible so if you substitute Muggers for Makers in my previous post, Cory confirmed that he would be in Ty's new band when I spoke with him a couple of weeks back!

 

That is kind of what I was thinking. It would be incredible news, but the large tour likely means no new Wand until later into Spring. Not sure how to feel about that.

Can't wait for the new LP. I wonder if "The Muggers" is going to feature Cory from WAND.

I am interested in both of these but not sure I can pull the trigger so close to Christmas, especially with the terrible exchange rate. Also can't wait for that Useless Eaters Live in San Fran LP. The Live in San Fran series is always super good and Bleeding Moon was one of my favourite releases last year.

That album from Pipe-Eye released on Flightless is really good. Everyone should check it out.

I love how prolific Ty is, but at some point following his releases is going to be WAY too expensive. Not yet though! Will buy immediately.

I am not feeling incredibly optimistic but I have been pleasantly surprised every time with ITR so here's hoping!

This is like a King Gizzard switch in sound. Apart from a couple tracks this is a way way way more laid back album. Dovetail is super cool. Great album!

I have been fairly lucky with ITR variants so far so I feel comfortable going for a white as awesome as the deluxe would be - 75 is a bit too much for me. 

I have the Ty Segall Band shirt from ITR and it is incredibly detailed and one of the best quality shirts I own. I am expecting much of the same from the new shirts and will be grabbing one as well.
