  1. thats rough, im in the same situation. my girl is going to sonoman state and i live in orange county (around 8 to 10 hour drive). my friends have also given me the "talk" too. but we are still going to work it out ( i know we are setting ourselfs for failure). the only thing i know for certain is that im going to try my best to make it work
  2. They got bumped for the Jawbreaker reunion. yea i heard about this too. its probably going to be a cover band instead (jawfaker).

  6. i was at the knitting factory last night, mike park and sundowner= amazing. christ said something along the lines "i know there are bigger shows tonight so thank you for being here." mike was funny as always, he finished with an op ivy song.

  8. damn you guys were right, the girls looked like club girls and the guys were all meat head. some dude came up to me and started yelling at me cause i told him i was going to see rocky votolato tonight. his exact words were " fuck you and fuck votolato! he broke up drag the river. fuck off!" i tried to explain to him that drag the river is still playing somewhat but to no avail. oh yea the bar tender was a bitch too! she started calling me a fucker and what not cause i didnt tip her. i usually tip the second round never the first round. lol besides that lucero rocked!

  11. what bands did you guys see in the movie? i saw the minute men , melvins, motorhead, iceburn, and youth of today.

  14. i remember at one of their shows, the bass player started playing the intro of a rites of spring song (theme) i got so pumped! unfortunately he just played the intro and thats it
  15. help! im looking for that store that makes earings, necklaces, etc. out of vinyl. i belive the store gives 10% off to vinyl collective board members. i tried to use the vc search engine but nothing came up
  16. Tennessee is my favorite album , more sad songs. last time i checked scratch records still had Nobody's Darlings on vinyl
  17. any thoughts on the songs themselves? the 7 inch is amazing, the split is good but the comp is meh. maybe i just have to listen to it several more times. i would love to see them live, hopefully they are still together

  19. Just Tim and an acoustic guitar? yea its tim and an acoustic guitar but theres someone else doing back up vocals. in reality the song is good until the other guy starts singing/humming and clapping his hands randomly
  20. Are you just thinking of the Tim Kinsella solo version of "A Picture Postcard" or is there actually a Joan Of Arc version, too? its on JOA's intelligent design album (singles, splits, b- sides, etc.). its probably the same song
  21. joan of arc- picture postcard very painful to hear just as bad as the "take on me" cover by cap'n jazz
  22. who fights at lifetime shows?? it was due to stage diving, but i did see people try to ninja dance to lifetime. odd
