I've called my local HT to see if they have something in stock to either hear..."duhhhhh.uhhhhh" or "no", and then go to the store and find it in the rack.

Just listened and love it.

Idk what's making people say this is a departure for them, or a "weird" song.

Deep dish pizza is tourist trap crap.

It really bothers me that every food network pizza show talks about as if its some kind of religion in Chicago.

Chicago has some of the best crispy thin crust pizza in the world.

I'll be there selling some stuff at my friend's table. It goes without saying I'll be shopping as well. I have been going to these shows for over 20 years.

Are they generally sellers with newer new/used stuff?

i used to get giant sheets of cardboard from my work and use those.

I also buy more than I sell, so I just use the mailers I receive.

Chicagoland Record Collectors Shows

There's never been a repress, or even rumors of a repress. There's (I think) enough interest to warrant one, but no plans to actually do it. Last year's PW represses stopped before Full Circle album-wise, & it's not mentioned on the above list.

 

And last years represses (s/t, Unknown Road, About Time) didnt exactly sell like hotcakes, so there probably isnt much incentive to do it.

 

But to be honest I have no clue. It's just my fave PW album & deserves another go round.

My favorite as well, and I imagine there would be plenty of interest in this album especially.

My local HT just got a bunch of new stuff in today, but none of these.

I've been waiting for sportscards that I won from a Canada seller for over a month now.

Every item I've ever gotten from Canada seems to get snagged in customs for weeks.

I won't claim to know discogs policy, but it is stated explicitly in ebay's terms that insurance is intended to protect the seller, not the buyer.

The onus is on the seller to make sure a purchased item arrives.  If you purchase something from walmart.com and it doesn't arrive, do you just write it off as a loss, or do you call customer service for a refund/replacement?  Anyone selling anything assumes the same risk/responsibility.

That Hot Topic variation is super wild looking too. Totally doesn't match the cover, but I still dig it. Luckily, I snagged the clear w/ black & white splatter for the pre-order. Seeing NFG again in a couple weeks

How come I can never buy anything from her? I get outbid by "Private Listing" every single time only to see the item back up right after the auction is over?

They probably have an account to make prices jump higher and then also to use when they don't think the price got high enough at the end of the listing, though I'm not sure why she/they wouldn't just set a price that must be met..
