I had a TWO double labels on my Folie A Deux 2XLP. Not to mention a lot of other records.

Weird.

It peeled off pretty cleanly with a slight residue left behind.

Also had a double label on side A...have never seen that before.

Message board badasses are my favorite.

along with the Frozen pic disc I got on clearance earlier this year!

got mine at HT. its almost clear looking. You can see wisps of a really light blue, but it looks clear.

Picked up a copy at Rolling Stones Records over the weekend...you can see a lot more blue in mine than the pics I've seen.

I'm with you.  I've always enjoyed this album.

However, fuck SRC and their $30 garbage quality reissues.

I went in March and found a few things to buy.

Also found a lot of disorganized sellers, a lot of sellers with dingy, dusty, scratched records, sellers with OUTRAGEOUS prices,

and a lot of very rude,  inconsiderate people with very bad personal hygiene.

I might go again at some point, but ebay/discogs are much easier to search and smell a lot better.

I enjoyed SR&R much, much more.

Count me with those who were hopeful after PAX-AM, that a much more rock-heavy album was on its way.

Just out of curiosity, what are the songs you skip? FAD is easily my favorite album by them... has been since it was released. But AB/AP I also find incredibly solid, but in a very different way. You can't look at it as a Rock record... you've got to look at is a POP/rock (notice the emphasis on the pop!) record, which understandably can be hard to do

I'm also completely OVER Centuries due to massive overplaying.  Uma Thurman is in danger of this as well.

After seeing how many 1,000s of copies of folie a deux and sr&r were pumped out, was there ever really any danger of this not having a standard vinyl release?

By the way, I agree with the earlier sentiments in this thread.  This is easily and by far my least favorite album.  I've listened 4 or 5 times, and there at least 3 tracks that I just skip now.  Not the case at all with any previous album.  I listened to folie a deux more in the first 2 days after it came out than I have AB/AP in 2 months.

It's out of stock. And I missed it :/

Yes, but isn't that par for the course around here?  I'm a video gamer as well, and follow video gaming groups on facebook & such.  Same concept as this place, everyone keeps each other posted on releases as well as buying/selling/trading.  If anyone posts "Make an offer" it gets deleted.  Or I think they get warned to list a price or it will get deleted.  Prices mandatory.
