So when Put up or shut up finally goes up online will it also be available in stores on a list similar to what you posted a few pages back?

That was just a list of stores that had that album in stock.

I would think most of the "high-volume" stores will get this.

From this point, I won't bother with CS, unless its for an order.

The two stores closest to me are going to call if they get a copy in for me.

I do realize HT is not a record store, but I'm 36, so its the only reason I go there...lol

Called a store today.

Nice girl there told me her systems shows 200 online...obviously not the case.

She calls CS for me and calls me back to tell me they have them available for ordering over the phone.

I call...wait on hold 20 minutes...CS rep I talk to can't even find it in the system.

I call the girl at the store to get the item #

Give it to the CS rep, and suddenly she's able to find the record.

However, it shows as out of stock/not for sale.

See how I'd get a bad impression?

Customer service and store employees know Zero about records.

Yeah, I have it followed.

Guess I'm just slightly put off by HT's release practices.

I'm just annoyed because I was home all day, and now I'm stuck at work for 10 hours, thereby relegated to using the inferior mobile versions of this site and HT.

But still not for sale...lol

If Tom wanted to cash in on Blink 182, he wouldn't release a rushed album for $40.  He'd like...if he wanted to just cash in...he would...you know, Mark always promised a solo album and never did it.  Tom always followed through.  It's Mark...you know...and Travis...like...the point is that Tom isn't doing this to cash in.  If he wanted to cash in...he'd like... Mark and Travis are the ones who kicked him out and want to cash in...Matt Skiba...you know...you'd buy an LP of unreleased Beatles songs if Paul McCartney released it...

 

I'm actually pretty excited about the idea of Mark, Travis, and Matt.

 

I've never been a fan of Tom's voice, honestly.

I did. All that came up was 2 shirts. My wife was not happy with HT, the way they handled the MM release. Then when she tried to contact HT about it, all they did was give her the run around.

 

The customer service people that I have ever talked to, know absolutely NOTHING about record sales. 

ATL will be up soon. Possibly today even.

 

Copies were not sent to stores on 2/25, they are getting out to stores now though.

 

Just got off the phone with customer service.  They show none in stock at the warehouse or online.

 

Its amazing how CS knows absolutely nothing about record releases.

 

Any validity to the fact that I was told only 200 will be available online?

And he relisted it for $495...

So I just talked to two stores in my area about ATL.

 

Their system shows 200 on the website, and the other copies being shipped to stores on 2/25.

 

Yet no stores have their copies yet, and the website has had nada.

Not today, it seems so far.

If Tom needs to "make money while he can", then he's been doing it wrong for a long time.

Anyone else going to see NFG at Durty Nellie's later this month?

They just put about a hundred new items on the site..none of them records.

Seems to be no hurry to put these on the site.

That's what people said about the MCR releases, and they pressed twice as many of those.
