Just got back from the Philly show, props to the guy wearing the Descendants shirt who yelled at my girlfriend, "I'll fuck you up bitch!" because she was snickering at him for being a complete autist. If you've never been to Philadelphia that's pretty much par for the course there.

The show in Philly tonight still has tickets for sale on the venue's website. I'll be there if you wanna come up and punch me in the face or something.

The Battletoads looks awesome, now Rare needs to do Killer Kuts.

I don't know or care about emo anything, but the richness of the acoustic guitar and the loose snare drums remind me of latin music.

You just outed yourself as one by caring enough to quote.
K. I was saying that in my initial post that kicked all this off, I wasn't being serious but you took it like I did.
Have fun kids.

Calling it now, the priest in the video is introduced as a character. He and the mom have been having an affair and doing junk together. That's why the church is the, "Only one place she'd be," He's the biological father of the youngest son, either he's the one the father killed in 'Letters Home' or he's the one that the youngest son goes to see at the end of 'Travels.'

Here's a question, in 'Empty Days & Sleepless Nights' the older brother refers to his father as an "airborne man."
In 'Letters Home,' the father appears to be an infantryman, "Hold fast, defend."
Also in 'Letters Home,' the father refers to his dead brother as, "sleeping at the bottom." (Plane crash?)
Conclusion, maybe the father's brother was the airborne man, but the father told his sons war stories about his brother but claimed them as his own?

Jammed that leaked track. It is pretty badass. I'm definitely more excited.
I'm interested in whose perspective this is. Could be the mother's? It's alluded to in the other albums that she tried hard to be religious.
Yes. According to Derek he has had the whole story mapped out from the start.

If anyone sees them and has any merch info, it would be appreciated. Seeing them on the 14th.

Rather have people like what they like than be bandwagon jumpers who genuinely feel nothing for the music. Fuckin audio sociopaths.
You might want to get your hyperbole-detector looked at, I think it's on the fritz.

I don't judge people for their tastes in music, but if you don't like toe you're basically an awful human being.

Wonder if they'll have any of these on their tour

do you feel the same way about the swastika flag? Its just a symbol, right?
So when do we start calling the Israeli flag a symbol of hate for what's been happening to the Palistineans for the last 50 years?

I think I remember Howard Zinn warning to be cautious about applying the morale and cultural standards of the present to people from the past in a people's history. Pretty much everyone who lived more than 100 years ago did things we would strongly frown on today, even the ones we celebrate. They wil probably find fault in some of Dr. King's actions in 100 years from now.
Too late, Dr. King advocated for equality which is inconsistent with the idea of "racism = power + privilege."

Yeah, I wasn't speaking in reference to Knuckle Puck - I'm confident enough in their abilities to blindly pre-order the full-length. But when I go on Merchnow and see bands with as many different bundle options as the number of records they're likely to pre-sell, well...lol.
Are you telling me you didn't PO the Devil Wears Prada carpet shampooer bundle?
