For me and everyone I know personally who likes NFG, this record was initially hated and then loved when revisited a few years later. I think it was a sound within pop punk that no one was ready for at the time, but as the genre changed and more bands made this transition, you eventually go back to this record and really appreciate  how good it was.

 

This was my least favorite NFG record when it came out, and now it's probably my second or third favorite.

Well it’s good to hear it’s finally getting some love. It’s very well written and the producing is too notch. It holds such a special place in my heart and has many memories attached to it. It was on constant rotation the fall of 2006. 

I’m not an NFG fan but I absolutely love this record. It is miles above anything else they’ve done. This has been at the top of my most wanted pressings since I started collecting in 2008. So I’m happy I was able to snag a copy. 
 

However I find it odd that the site crashed and people are freaking out about a record I’ve never really heard anyone praise. I know a lot of people who love NFG and they they all say this record isn’t very good.

So typically I can behind this, but when the FBI investigates you and haven’t charged you, it usually means there’s a reason why they didn’t charge you. 

I recall preordering this CD/DVD from Interpunk my junior year of high school. I spent so many nights listening to this in my room.

For me, the crowd is what makes it. My only complaint is I wish it would have been just Chris solo.

Planes Mistaken For Stars comeback record was incredible, and easily one of the best records of last year.

AN is one of my favorite bands ever, and they completely changed my life. But I’m not expecting much from them. Tim wrote the songs and he’s gone. Wes is basically married with a kid and seems happy (that’s a good thing) so there’s no way his writing can match the stuff from 15+ years ago.

Emily Driskill apparently dated Jesse after he forced himself on her. She said she kept in touch with Jesse until she was 23 (2009) but her own Flickr account has photos she took of the band in 2011. She also leaked nude video of Jesse in 2012 after they broke up. This is illegal and often considered a form of abuse. Why isn’t she being called out?
