Sounds fair enough to me. Anyone ordering more than two whites was likely in it just to flip, anyway. Distributing the goods from flippers to the deserving -- you're like the Robin Hood of vinyl, and I respect that.

I actually contacted that seller and asked what he was doing. Turns out he's just hoping to bank off some random eBayer's stupidity. He'll probably sell it before ASR runs out of their greens.

Were these even sealed to begin with? Collectors and flippers alike get their panties in a bunch over whether or not the shrink-wrap is intact or broken on LPs. A lot of eBay listings I've read, for this release, have "NEW/SEALED" in the description. I can't say I've read confirmation from anyone, on the subject.

The putrid stench of flipper is almost unbearable in this thread. How many of those gold TDAGs did you pick up?

Definitely agree with 442. Awesome. Hate to sound overly bitter, but it's stuff like that which causes me to occasionally hate people so fucking much. Is it a double, or an additional variant you're parting with? And what kind of condition is it in? I'll PM you if I can talk myself into springing for it.

He'd be forced to refund you though, right? I'd totally do it if I wasn't worried that he'd somehow "pull some strings" and end up with another black copy. $125 is a pretty big factor to consider, assuming it backfires.

As if this release itself didn't make my day, this pretty much put it over the top. So kick-ass.

Do it to it. If someone's stupid enough to pre-flip a record, they deserve to have their order canceled. Lets the rarity / collector-value go to a fan who deserves it, and not some asshat looking to make a quick buck. It's probably not 100% "professional," per se, but I'd personally pull the trigger if I was in Matt's situation.

I'll keep you posted. A good frame isn't going to be cheap, though, unfortunately. I've used Wholesale Poster Frames in the past, and was pretty happy with the (basic) frame I received. I set up something a bit nicer, for the lithograph, complete with matting. < $70. If I can't find anything nicer or cheaper, I just may have to bite the bullet on it. Seriously a beautiful print -- I wouldn't mind giving it a proper setup, at all.

Oh I never texted you, I saw you in here before I had even ordered haha. I texted a real life friend, he got a black, it all worked out. Oh, I see how it is. Glad I didn't step out or head off to the kitchen for a bite to eat. Glad to hear it all worked out, though.

Still haven't received that text. I'm assuming you punched in the wrong number... which means someone somewhere else is going to be a little confused. Thanks for remembering, at least. Fortunately I was at the right place at the right time... which never seems to happens, with these limited orders.

Oh, and I forgot to mention that the limiting of one black copy per household is genius. No doubt someone, somewhere, will take the time to work around that... but way to stick it to the flippers.

And now I can go to sleep. I know everyone's congratulated you on the release, Matt, but I think the rate at which these sell out will be a genuine testament to your label, choice of release, and effort. Glad to support you guys.

I sprung for the autographed lithograph, and I decided long ago that it needs to be framed. Anyone know of a good custom-framing site or service? Unless there are 17 x 18" frames floating around, out there. I seemed to have missed them.
